Chapter 32 - Zombie apocalypse

As they made their way through the dungeon, Jasmine was struck by the eerie familiarity of their surroundings. The once-bustling city streets were now deserted, the only company being the powerful zombies that roamed the area. She also noticed the store signs, all written in English or Hindi, with familiar Mumbai addresses. "This is...bizarre," she murmured.

Keshav said while filling eerie "Its like we are in post apocalyptic Mumbai"

Jasmine looked around, taking in the familiar sights of Mumbai, now twisted and warped by the passage of time and the undead apocalypse. "Yeah," she said, her voice quiet. "It's like we're in a nightmare version of Mumbai. It's...jarring, somehow."

Keshav said while he killed 5 zombies with 1 strike using his skill "But how is it possible. There's no zombie outbreak in reality."

Jasmine shook her head, her expression bewildered. "I have no idea," she replied, her voice still hushed. "It's like we've stepped into some alternate reality, or maybe this is how Mumbai would look if a zombie apocalypse actually happened."

Keshav said while he shook his head "No use thinking. We can't understand it. Lets just quickly kill all monsters while also collecting heart stones."

Jasmine nodded in agreement, her gaze focusing on the task at hand. "You're right, we need to focus on the immediate threat and collect heart stones as we go. Let's not waste time trying to understand the inexplicable."

They continued to make their way through the dungeon, eliminating zombies and gathering heart stones along the way. Despite their initial surprise, they quickly fell into a rhythm, their movements and attacks almost effortless with their cheat skills.

As they navigated the familiar yet warped streets of Mumbai, Jasmine couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. There was something distinctly unnerving about seeing her hometown transformed into a nightmarish landscape. The sight of familiar buildings and landmarks turned into crumbled ruins made her heart ache.

Keshav picked up a newspaper that was lying on the ground, scanning the front page for any useful information. The headline read " Mumbai in Chaos after Zombie Outbreak". Below the headline was an article describing how the city was suddenly overrun by a zombie horde, with people struggling to escape and find safety.

Keshav quickly read through the article, his expression growing more and more serious as he took in the details. "It says here that the outbreak happened suddenly, with no warning," he said, his voice hushed. "It spread rapidly, and people were overwhelmed. There was barely any time for a proper response."

Jasmine looked at the newspaper, her eyes widening as she noticed the date. "Wait, this is from 10 years ago," she said, her voice tinged with disbelief. "These events happened a decade ago?"

Keshav nodded, his expression grim. "Looks like this dungeon is based on the events of some outbreak from 10 years ago in god knows what timeline or reality," he said. "Which means we're not just fighting regular undead; we're fighting zombies from a decade-old apocalypse."

Jasmine said "Then there should be many evolved zombies here."Jasmine shook her head, her expression growing more serious. "Not just evolved zombies," she said. "We should expect to face hordes of evolved zombies, possibly even super evolved zombies that can challenge our current power level."

Keshav nodded in agreement, his gaze sweeping the surrounding area. "We need to be cautious," he said, his voice low. "We can't afford to underestimate these enemies. They may be from a decade-old outbreak, but they have had time to grow and evolve."

Jasmine said while chuckling a little "We really turned a bit too serious now. With our cheat skill no matter how many zombies came it will be easy. If they came together in hordes its even better than you can cut them in single strike."

Keshav chuckled in agreement, his expression lightening at Jasmine's words. "You're right," he said, a hint of amusement in his voice. "With our cheat skills, we can take on hordes of zombies with ease. It'll be like cutting through butter with a hot knife."

Jasmine smiled at his analogy, her mood lifting slightly. "We're like gods in this dungeon," she said, her voice tinged with bravado. "Those zombies don't stand a chance against us."

Keshav said "Lets at least check our and their levels"

Jasmine nodded, her expression becoming serious once again. "Good idea," she said. "We should check our stats and the stats of the zombies we encounter. With our cheat skills, we may find out that we're stronger than we realize."

Keshav - level 86

Jasmine- level 85

Zombie - level 97

As they checked their levels, Jasmine couldn't help but feel a pang of disbelief at the power gap between them and the zombies they were facing. "Level 97...." she muttered, her voice tinged with awe. "These zombies are more than 10 levels above us..."

Keshav said while he spanked her "Don't over dramatize it when they will die just as easily as level 1 in front of our skills"

Jasmine rolled her eyes playfully, swatting away Keshav's hand. "I know, I know," she said, a small smile on her face. "But it's still a bit jarring, you know? It's like we're ants facing off against giants."

Keshav chuckled at her analogy, his own smile widening. "We may be ants, but we're ants with some seriously badass powers," he said, his tone filled with determination. "We'll show these zombies who's boss, no matter how much stronger they are on paper."

Jasmine and Keshav still continued to fight through hordes of zombies, their skills and powers easily slicing through them like butter. They fought for hours on end, their stamina seemingly endless. By now they had killed 10s of thousands of zombies. With every level up, their reality essence was fully restored, allowing them to keep fighting without fatigue. Despite the seemingly endless onslaught, they kept going, their eyes fixed on the goal of clearing the dungeon.

Than thinking of something keshav said "Decade ago population of Mumbai was nearly 20 million. If even a 10th of that became zombies than it will be 2 million but i think except for those who got their bodies destroyed everyone else became zombie"

Jasmine's expression turned somber at Keshav's words. "You're right," she said, her voice hushed. "The scale of this outbreak must have been massive. If even a fraction of the population turned into zombies...it's hard to imagine the carnage that must have unfolded."

Keshav said "I think this is why this dungeon was never cleared and much more military was surrounding it than other gates for its eventual break. They are planning to continuously kill zombies at the gate."

Jasmine nodded, her expression thoughtful. "It makes sense," she said. "This dungeon is not like any other. It's an endless source of powerful zombies, and the military knows it. That's why they have so many forces positioned around it, trying to keep the outbreak contained."

Keshav said "Maybe we were send here to take blame of failing to prevent this inevitable dungeon break"

Jasmine's eyes widened at his words, her expression growing more serious. "You think so?" she said, her voice tinged with disbelief. "You think we were sent here just to be scapegoats?"

Keshav nodded, his face set in a grim expression. "I wouldn't put it past them," he said, his voice low. "The military has a history of using sacrificial lambs to cover up their mistakes and failures."

Jasmine felt a shiver run down her spine at his words. The idea that they could be mere pawns in a larger game, sent to die in this dungeon, was unsettling to say the least. "But...we're players," she said, her voice hesitant. "Shouldn't we be treated differently?"

Keshav shrugged, his expression weary. "Maybe," he said. "Maybe not. Just because we're players doesn't mean we're automatically safe from the machinations of the military. We're not the only players in existence, and we're not irreplaceable."

Jasmine felt a sense of unease growing in her chest at Keshav's words. The thought that they were nothing more than pawns in a larger game, disposable and replaceable in the eyes of the military, was a sobering one. "So what do we do, then?" she asked, her voice quiet. "Just accept our fate?"

Keshav said "We will take blame if dungeon break occurs, with our cheat skill we can clear it. Clearing it will also show our guild's power and increase its reputation."

Jasmine nodded in agreement, her expression hardening with determination. "You're right," she said, her voice firm. "We'll clear this dungeon, no matter what. We can prove our strength and show the military that we're not to be underestimated. Plus, clearing it will also mean preventing countless more zombies from being unleashed upon the world."

Keshav checked his level :- level 92

Then keshav stood at one place and concentrated activated his skill "Within this dungeon kill cut all zombies"

Jasmine watched as Keshav stood still, his expression focused. She knew that he was activating his skill, and she felt a sense of awe at the sheer power that he possessed. With a simple thought, he could kill all zombies within the dungeon. It was an incredible display of his skill, and Jasmine couldn't help but feel a mixture of fear and admiration.

Suddenly, there was a shockwave that was unleashed from keshav's body. The shockwave moved at extreme speeds in all direction killing all zombies.

Jasmine's eyes widened as she watched the scene play out. She couldn't believe the power and precision of Keshav's skill. What his skill did was much more like cutting only things that have concept of zombie. Not only did it eliminate all the zombies within the dungeon, but it did so with such control that not even their clothes were affected. It was a truly impressive display of skill.

She couldn't help but feel a thrill of amazement and awe as she watched the aftermath of the shockwave's passage. The zombies lay strewn about in pieces, their bodies separated cleanly from their clothes. It was a gruesome sight, but also strangely beautiful in its own way.

After this display of power from keshav, Jasmine's respect and admiration for him only grew. She knew that he was not just a powerful fighter, but also a skilled and precise one. With his skill, he had saved them countless hours of fighting and risked his life even less.

As Keshav stood in the middle of the carnage he had unleashed, Jasmine's eyes widened when she saw the amount of XP he gained. "You leveled up so much," she said, her voice tinged with awe. "You must be one of the strongest Players in existence now."

Keshav nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "It does feel good to gain so much XP," he said, his tone casual.

As Keshav checked his level after the massive XP gain from eliminating millions of zombies, his expression turned to one of surprise and awe. "I- I'm level 114," he said, his voice filled with amazement. "I just gained 22 levels in a single strike."

Jasmine's eyes widened at his words, her own expression filled with awe. "Level 114..." she said, her voice tinged with disbelief. "That's incredible. I didn't even know we could gain so much levels at once."

Jasmine quickly went about collecting the heartstones from the defeated zombies, her hands moving with practiced efficiency. She knew that these heartstones were valuable, not only because they could be used to level up skills but also because they could be traded or sold for high amounts of money.

As she moved through the battlefield, collecting the heartstones, she couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at their success. Keshav's skill had made everything so much easier, and they had managed to clear the dungeon with minimal risk to themselves.

Jasmine looked around at the carnage around them. It was a sight to behold, thousands upon thousands of zombie bodies strewn about, a reminder of their success.

But just as she collected a bit over 4 million heart stones, with many time's more still remaining they were teleported out of dungeon.
