Jasmine was in the process of getting dressed when the phone rang, cutting through the silence of the room. She paused, confused for a moment, before picking up the phone. "Hello?" she asked, her voice wary.
The person on phone said "Is it miss Jasmine speaking."
"Yes, this is Jasmine speaking," she replied, still confused as to who was on the other end of the line.
The person continued "I am are from player association. Yesterday because we were in hurry to assign dungeons to guild, we got notification of your guild clearing a dungeon not cleared even once for long time. Your guild's this achievement has caused player association to raised evaluation of you. So the dungeon assigned to your guild has been changed. Previously very easy dungeon was assigned to your guild, for which most likely you will not need to take action till it disappear due to constant clearing. But now a new dungeon had been assigned and it only have 2 days left until it was last time cleared. So please try to clear it today and tell us whether we will need to send backup tomorrow. "
Jasmine listened intently to the voice on the phone, her eyes widening as she heard the change in the dungeon assignment. The mention of a new dungeon, one that only had two days left until it was last cleared, caused her to feel a sense of unease. She had a feeling that this dungeon might be a lot more difficult, and they might need some help. "I see," she replied, her voice still wary. "We'll do our best to clear the dungeon today. Can you please give us details of the dungeon?"
The person on call continued "The dungeon you had been assigned is an undead type. Its filled with zombies and we don't know why background of this dungeon is like Mumbai city. As for specific details please check on player association website "
Jasmine nodded, processing the information the person was giving her. An undead type dungeon in a Mumbai city-like background? That was...odd, to say the least. She made a mental note to check the Player Association website for more details. "Thank you for the update," she said, her voice steady. "We'll do our best to clear it today. If we need backup, we'll let you know. Is there anything else?"
The person on call said "No, there is nothing else. If you need back up then we will send players to your location. Good luck," the call disconnecting
Jasmine hung up the phone, her thoughts racing. An undead type dungeon in a Mumbai city-like background? It sounded challenging, and she knew they'd need to be prepared. She quickly finished getting dressed and made her way out of the bathroom.
She found Keshav waiting for her, his gaze focused and serious. "What was that call about?" he asked, his voice quiet.
"It was from the Player Association," she replied, her voice steady. "They changed the dungeon assignment. The one we were originally assigned is apparently already frequently cleared, so they switched it to a different dungeon. One that only has two days left until it was last cleared."
Keshav's eyebrows furrowed at this news. "That's unexpected," he said, his voice still serious. "Did they give you any details about the new dungeon?"
"Yes, they did," she replied, her eyes meeting his. "It's an undead type dungeon, and it's located in a Mumbai-like background. Not sure why they gave that background. And the person on call said that it's filled with zombies."
Keshav nodded, his gaze narrowing. "That definitely sounds more challenging than the first dungeon we were assigned," he said, his tone thoughtful. "Lets go with our cheat skills we will easilyclear it"
Jasmine nodded, her gaze determined. "I agree, we have our cheat skills. We should be able to clear it easily, barring any unforeseen circumstances."
Keshav gave her a small smirk. "No unforeseen circumstances, huh? You know the universe likes to throw curveballs at us," he said, a hint of teasing in his voice.
Jasmine rolled her eyes, her expression slightly exasperated. "I know, I know," she said, but a small smile played at the corner of her mouth. "But let's at least try to be optimistic."
Keshav chuckled at her response, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Fine, we'll be optimistic," he said, his tone still tinged with teasing. "But I'm warning you now, if things go south, I'm blaming you and your optimism."
Jasmine rolled her eyes again, her expression still slightly exasperated. "Gee, thanks a lot for the vote of confidence," she said, her tone sardonic. "I'm sure my optimism will be the only thing that gets us through this."
He chuckled again, his expression amused. "Hey, I'm just being realistic," he said, his tone still teasing. "But as much as I love your optimism, how about we channel some of that into making contingency plans?"
Jasmine took a deep breath as they approached the dungeon gate. She cast a glance at Keshav, who nodded in response. They knew they had to act like their whole guild had entered, not just the two of them.
With a flick of her wrist, Jasmine controlled her fake minions to follow them, acting as if the entire guild was present. The military guards at the gate seemed to buy the illusion, allowing them to pass through without suspicion. But one thing a bit suspicious to them was there were quiet a lot of military much more than you would expect them surrounding a dungeon. But they decided to ignore it.
"That was close," Jasmine muttered as they stepped into the dungeon. She felt a shiver run down her spine as the darkness of the dungeon enveloped her, the faint sound of shuffling and groans echoing through the air.
As they made their way deeper into the dungeon, Jasmine turned to Keshav. "I'm going to store the bodies of the fakes in my subspace," she said, her voice low.
Keshav nodded in agreement. "Good idea,"
