That evening, Jasmine and Keshav were at home talking about what to do next with dungeon they had cleared. Keshav was feeling mixed emotions, he was angry about how military used them like a chess pawn but at the same time he couldn't help but feel thrilled at the thought of how much he had leveled in dungeon.
Jasmine couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy as she heard Keshav mention his increased level. She had been clearing the same dungeon with him, yet her level still lingered at 90.
"It's not fair," Jasmine said, a hint of petulance in her voice. "I've been working just as hard as you, so why is my level still so much lower?"
Keshav chuckled softly, amused by Jasmine's competitiveness. "Don't worry, honey," he said, putting an arm around her. "You'll level up soon enough. And besides, levels aren't everything."
Jasmine said feeling a bit better "You are right our power can't be measured by levels. We can easily kill monsters of much higher level then us."
"Exactly," Keshav nodded. "Our cheat skill is what matters most. That's what sets us apart from other players."
Jasmine's expression turned more serious as she considered the power of their skills. "You're right," she murmured. "But I still wish I could level up faster. I feel so inferior to you."
Keshav spanked her "Right now there are not many dungeons with monsters higher level than me. So my level will stagnant for a while untill stronger dungeons appeare but yours will still increase untill you are similar level to me.
Jasmine let out a small yelp as Keshav spanked her. "Hey, that hurt," she said with a pout, though there was playful glint in her eye.
Keshav grinned, amused by her reaction. "Sorry, honey. Couldn't resist."
Jasmine rolled her eyes, but she couldn't help but smile. "You're such a tease," she said, swatting his arm playfully. "But you're right. I suppose my level will catch up to yours eventually."
Keshav pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her. "Just focus on getting stronger, sweetheart," he said, nuzzling her neck. "I'll be right here beside you every step of the way."
Jasmine melted into his embrace, feeling safe and secure in his arms. She knew that with Keshav by her side, she could overcome anything. "I love you," she whispered, snuggling closer to him.
They slept in each other's arms, basking in the comfort and warmth of their bond.
Tomorrow they would have to decide about the offer that they still have no idea about.
The next day they decided to have breakfast in a fancy restaurant. As usual Jasmine was dressed up as a elegant woman. Her short hair was curled elegantly framing her lovely face. Her lips red and alluring. She had button up school sweater which hugged her figure. She wore white collar. She wore white knee length skirt. Her dress hugged perfectly to her body showing off her curves.
Keshav was dressed to impress in a tailored suit and tie. He was looking his usual confident and handsome self, his muscular build obvious underneath the fabric.
They walked into the restaurant arm in arm, looking like the perfect couple.
At the restaurant, they were immediately seated at a table in a secluded spot, hidden away from most of the other patrons. They spent the whole time giggling and stealing glances at each other, occasionally holding each other's hand under the table.
As they ate their meals, a waiter approached their table with a leather folder in hand. He placed it in front of Keshav and spoke in a hushed tone. "A letter for you, sir."
Keshav raised an eyebrow in surprise and took the leather folder, curious about the sender. He opened it and began to read the contents, his expression growing more and more perplexed with each passing moment.
"What is it?" Jasmine asked, peering over his shoulder curiously.
Keshav finished reading the letter and looked up at Jasmine, a mixture of surprise and confusion on his face. "This..." he began, still trying to process what he had just read. "This is a letter from the military. They want to discuss something with us and asked to meet us in private room of this restaurant. "
Jasmine's eyes widened in surprise. "The military? What could they possibly want from us?" she asked, a hint of trepidation in her voice.
Keshav looked around, making sure no one was eavesdropping on their conversation before answering. "I'm not sure," he said quietly. "But they mentioned something about an offer and our power."
"Our powers?" she repeated, her mind racing with possibilities. "Do you think it has something to do with the dungeon we cleared?"
"I think so," Keshav nodded, his expression growing serious. "It's the only thing that makes sense. "
"But why would the military be interested in us?" Jasmine asked, her eyes narrowing in suspicion. "And what kind of offer could they possibly be making us?"
Keshav shook his head. "I don't know," he admitted. "But there's only one way to find out. We have to meet them and hear what they have to say."
Jasmine bit her lip, looking worried for a moment but steeled herself. "Alright," she said, trying to sound brave. "Let's meet them and find out what they want."
Keshav nodded and signaled the waiter that they were ready to go to the private room. They stood up and followed the waiter, who led them to a secluded room at the back of the restaurant.
The waiter opened the door and motioned for them to go inside. Keshav and Jasmine exchanged a look before entering the room. Inside, they saw four officers sitting at a table, waiting for them.
"Please sit down," one of the officers said, gesturing to the empty chairs across from them. Keshav and Jasmine complied, feeling their nerves building up as they waited to hear what the officers had to say.
Then they said "We were first going to give this offer to your guild but when we did some background research we found that only you 2 are real people, other 10 players in your guild are fake made by using your skill. We decided to make this offer to 2 of you directly."
Jasmine and Keshav exchanged glances, surprised that the military had found out about their guild's fake players. They had been very careful to keep their skill secret, so it was alarming that the military had managed to uncover the truth.
"How did you figure it out?" Keshav asked, trying to keep his voice steady.
The officer smiled wryly. "It wasn't easy," he said. "But we have our methods. Don't worry we will not look into this matter anymore and you 2 can continue to be a guild with just 2 of you."
Jasmine and Keshav nodded, relieved that the military wouldn't dig any deeper into their guild. But they still couldn't shake off the feeling of unease, wondering what else the officers knew about them.
Keshav asked "What's your offer that was mentioned in letter."
The officers looked at each other, as if silently deciding who would speak first. Finally, the one who had been doing most of the talking spoke up. "We have an offer that we think you might find interesting. But before we get to that, let us first ask you a few questions about your unique skills."
Keshav and Jasmine exchanged glances, wondering where this was headed. "Alright," Keshav said cautiously. "What do you want to know?"
The officer nodded, looking satisfied with their response. "First, we want to know the extent of your abilities. Can you explain to us how your skills work?"
Keshav said "We won't give you details but we can tell you that my skill can cut anything irrespective of levels and she can manipulate her surroundings"
The officers nodded, scribbling down notes as Keshav spoke. "Interesting," one of them said. "That does sound like a unique and powerful skill. How do you use it? Can you give us an example?"
Keshav shook his head "That will be personal. We want to keep our abilities secret. So whats your offer."
The officers exchanged glances once again, clearly disappointed by Keshav's refusal to disclose more details about their skills. But they didn't push the issue and moved on to the actual offer.
"Alright," the officer said. "Our offer is simple. We would like to make a deal with you. In exchange for your cooperation, we are willing to provide you with certain benefits."
Keshav asked while being intrigued "What kind of cooperation."
The officer sat forward, a serious look on his face. "We want you to work for us," he said bluntly. "Your skills are highly valuable to us, and we believe that you could help us achieve things that we couldn't otherwise. In exchange for your services, we will provide you with access to resources, training, and support. We will also provide a generous compensation for your work."
Keshav said "We won't work under anyone."
The officer nodded, as if he was expecting that answer. "I understand your hesitation," he said. "But let me assure you, we are not looking to control you or take away your freedom. We simply want to collaborate with you and utilize your skills for the greater good. We believe that together, we can achieve more than we can individually."
Keshav asked "And how is that. Give is details."
The officer leaned back in his chair, folding his hands in front of him. "Higher ups had a meeting after you cleared dungeon yesterday and decision was made that you 2 would be offered the benefits of the helicopter, free medical care, a dedicated players association member, and free five-star accommodation, on the condition that you continued to clear impossible to clear dungeons for other players across country."
Keshav and Jasmine were taken aback by the offer, clearly not expecting such benefits to be on the table. "That's a lot of benefits," Jasmine said, her voice betraying a hint of hesitation.
The officer nodded. "Yes, we are aware of the magnitude of our offer," he said. "But we believe that your skills are worth the investment. And in addition to this, if you continue to clear dungeons that other can't your guild can become no. 1 in our country with just 2 of you."
Keshav and Jasmine exchanged glances, clearly tempted by the offer, but also wary of the implications of working for the military. "What exactly would we have to do?" Keshav asked, his tone guarded.
The officer leaned forward, his expression becoming more serious. "We want you to work with us to clear dungeons across country. We will provide you with information on the locations of these dungeons and the monsters within them. You will have full autonomy to clear these dungeons as you see fit, but we request that you prioritize the ones that are the most crucial for our national security."
Keshav and Jasmine felt a sense of unease growing in the pit of their stomachs. "And what if we refuse?" Keshav asked.
The officer shook his head. "We hope that you will seriously consider our offer and accept," he said. "But if you refuse, we will have no choice but to dig deeper in case of fake players."
Keshav's face hardened, a flash of anger in his eyes. "Are you threatening us?" he asked, his voice low and dangerous.
Officer shook his head "We are not. When it was discovered player association was going to cancel your guild's license. We military stopped it. If you don't cooperate with us, we have no reason to continue stopping them."
Jasmine's grip on the table tightened, her fingers digging into the wood. "So we're essentially being blackmailed into working for you," she said, her voice tight with anger and frustration.
Official smile "We are not blackmailing you. We are just telling you all facts and our offer is good. Choice is yours to choose."
Keshav and Jasmine were silent for a moment, their minds racing as they weighed their options. The offer was tempting, but the thought of being beholden to the military and having to put their lives on the line for them was a heavy burden to bear. That was what officials were expecting them to think.
But official don't know that with keshav and Jasmine's cheat skill any dungeon will be a walk in park for them, except with a bit of horror involved.
Keshav and Jasmine looked at each other, a silent communication passing between them. They had already made their decision.
Keshav turned back to the officials, his expression stoic. "Alright, we'll do it," he said. "But on one condition."
The officer raised an eyebrow, curious. "And what would that condition be?"
Keshav leaned forward, a hard edge to his voice. "We want complete autonomy in how we clear the dungeons. No interference from you guys. We'll handle it our own way."
The officers exchanged glances, silently communicating amongst themselves. After a moment, the main officer nodded. "Very well," he said. "You will have full autonomy to clear the dungeons as you see fit. We will not interfere in your methods as long as you complete the missions."
Official continued "Even more so that no member of player association and military will go with you in dungeon to see how both of you clear it."
Keshav nodded, satisfied with the response for now. "Alright, we accept your offer. When do we start?"
Official said "Today. There is a black car in front of restaurant. It will take you to helicopter. On the way member of player association will tell all the info we know about dungeon."
Keshav and Jasmine stood up, ready to leave. "We'll be heading out then," Keshav said, extending his hand.
The officers shook their hands and nodded. "Thank you for accepting our offer. We look forward to working with you," the main officer said.
