Chapter 36 - Impossible to clear dungeon for others

Keshav and Jasmine left the restaurant and sure enough a black car was waiting outside. They got in and were driven to a nearby helicopter landing site, where a military helicopter was waiting for them.

As they walked up to the helicopter, they saw a woman standing next to it. She was wearing a players association jacket and smiled at them. "Hello, I'm Claire. I'll be giving you the information about the dungeon you'll be clearing," she said.

Keshav and Jasmine nodded and got into the helicopter. Claire followed them in and buckled in as the pilot started up the engine. The helicopter took off, ascending into the air.

Claire waited until they were airborne before she pulled out a tablet and brought up a map. "The dungeon you'll be clearing is located in a mountain range about three hundred kilometers from here," she said. "It's been reported that there is a high level boss monster residing in the dungeon."

Clair continued "The reason it has been declared to be impossible to clear is that its a dungeon with lava floor with a very low oxygen concentration. And monsters come out of lava. There is no place to even set a foot. Can you 2 manage it?"

Keshav nodded. "Don't worry," he said confidently. "We have our own methods to clear it."

Claire looked surprised, clearly not expecting them to be so confident. "Alright then," she said. "I'll leave it to you two."

As the helicopter flew towards the mountain range, Keshav and Jasmine sat in silence, each lost in their own thoughts. They were both feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness, knowing that the upcoming dungeon would be unlike anything they had ever faced before.

The helicopter finally arrived at the mountain range, and they could see the towering peaks and deep crevices in the mountainside. The pilot circled around the area, scanning for the entrance to the dungeon.

Finally, the pilot spotted it and pointed at a small opening hidden beneath a rocky outcropping. "There it is," he said, circling around to land the helicopter near the entrance.

Keshav and Jasmine got out of the helicopter, thanking the pilot and waving goodbye to Claire. They walked over to the entrance, surveying the area and mentally preparing themselves for what they were about to face.

As they stepped inside the dungeon, they were immediately hit with a wave of heat. The air was thick and choking, and they could hear the roar of lava flowing and bubbling nearby.

Jasmine made a barrier to filter the air and started making Oxygen as it was deficient in air.

Keshav nodded, grateful for Jasmine's quick thinking. They slowly made their way deeper into the dungeon, the heat growing more intense with each step. The ground was treacherous, the floor uneven and slippery with molten rock.

Only because of Jasmine's barrier could they set foot on it.

Keshav said "Jasmine as your level is low. You will kill all the monsters."

Jasmine nodded, understanding the strategy. "Alright, I'll focus on taking down the monsters," she said, her expression determined.

They continued their descent, Jasmine destroying every monster that came their way. Despite the danger and difficulty, they easily progressed through the dungeon.

Soon they came across a lava lake. The lake was massive, its surface a molten sea of fire and destruction. They could see the occasional bubbling and roiling of the lava, signaling the presence of the boss monster they had been tasked with defeating.

They checked its level

It was level 102

Keshav and Jasmine looked at each other, both knowing that this boss monster was going to be troublesome to kill because of being in lava lake. "Looks like we've found our target," Keshav said, narrowing his eyes.

"What's your plan?" Jasmine asked, sizing up the boss monster with a determined expression.

Keshav said "Use your reality weaving skill to change temperature of lake to minus and reheat it back again. Repeat it a few times and rapid change in temperature will kill the boss"

Jasmine nodded, understanding the plan. "Alright, I'll give it a try." She closed her eyes and concentrated on the lava lake, using her reality weaving skill to manipulate the temperature. The lava began to churn and bubble frenetically, the lake's temperature dropping first and then spiking quickly.

As the temperature continued to fluctuate rapidly, the boss monster thrashed around in agony, its health bar dropping quickly. Keshav and Jasmine watched intently, waiting for the right moment.

Finally, the boss monster's health dropped to zero and it let out a final, keening cry. The lake's temperature stabilized, and the lava began to gradually cool back down.

Keshav and Jasmine let out a sigh of relief, exhausted but satisfied with their victory. They looked at each other, a mix of pride and exhaustion on their faces.

The experience points from the slain monsters and the boss had been enough to push Jasmine's level up to 95, a significant increase from her previous level.

While they were killing monsters they had collected all the heart stones of monsters including boss and strored them in Jasmine's subspace.

Then they were teleported out.

As they exited the dungeon, they were immediately met by Claire, who had been waiting anxiously for their return. She let out a sigh of relief as she saw them emerge, unscathed despite the intense battle they had just been in.

"You two are alright," she said, visibly relieved. "I was worried something had happened to you both but you both are alright and didn't even got single scratch."

Keshav said "Impossible to clear dungeons for other players are easy for us."

Claire raised an eyebrow, surprised at Keshav's bold statement. "Is that so?" she said, studying them both closely. "I've seen many players who couldn't even scratch the health of boss in those dungeons."

Keshav smirked, knowing that they were different from those players. "That's because they don't have our skills," he said with confidence. "We have unique skills that make clearing even impossible dungeons possible."

Claire raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Unique skills?" she asked, looking between them curiously. "What kind of skills do you two have?"

Keshav said "that's a secret"

Claire pursed her lips, clearly disappointed that she wouldn't be getting more information. "Fair enough," she said, accepting their answer for now. "I suppose I'll just have to wait and see your skills in action."

Claire continued "Because of how fast you cleared the dungeon, there's still time for lunch. Lets go to a city to have lunch in 5 star restaurant"

Keshav and Jasmine exchanged glances, both still a bit tired from the dungeon but also hungry. "Sure, that sounds good," Keshav said, nodding in agreement.

Claire smiled. "Great, I'll arrange a car to take us to the nearest city."

As promised, shortly afterwards, a car pulled up, driven by one of the military personnel. Keshav and Jasmine got in, and the car started off towards the nearby city.

As they journeyed to the city, they could see the landscape gradually changing from rugged mountain terrain to a more urbanized area with buildings and infrastructure sprouting up. Soon, they arrived in the heart of the city, surrounded by towering skyscrapers and a bustling downtown atmosphere.

Claire guided them to a luxurious 5-star restaurant, its exterior exuding elegance and refinement. As they stepped inside, they were greeted by the warm ambience and opulent ambiance, the restaurant exuding an air of luxury and sophistication.

They were immediately shown to a cosy, well-appointed booth, the perfect spot to unwind and unwind. They perused the extensive menu, their mouths watering at the appetising pictures and descriptions of the exquisite dishes.

They placed their orders, and soon, the food began to arrive, each dish looking more scrumptious than the last. They eagerly tucked in, savoring each bite of the delectable meal. The food was beyond delicious, the flavours and textures a symphony of delight on their tongues.

As they dined, they chatted about the dungeon and their experiences so far, their conversation flowing between bites of food. It was a rare moment of leisure and relaxation, a chance to enjoy good food and company.

Eventually, their plates were completely empty, a testament to the deliciousness of the meal. They leaned back, feeling content and satisfied, their bellies full and their taste buds blissfully sated.

Claire called a waiter and he came over, taking the empty plates and offering to bring the bill. Keshav looked expectantly at her, wondering if she was going to offer to pay.

Claire said while paying "Even your food bills are included in the offer. I just need to submit the bill to higher ups later."

Keshav grinned, relieved that he didn't have to worry about the bill. Jasmine also looked pleased, grateful that everything was being taken care of.

As they got ready to leave, they thanked Claire for the lovely meal and the opportunity to eat somewhere this nice.
