Before me was a feminine figure, on her head was a headpiece made of a gemstone. It fitted her well, and kept her large ears out. Her eyes were a pair of ambers, having something between it and her mouth. Similar, to what I had felt on mine earlier. It was pinkish and had hairs sticking out in both directions, while her entire body was covered with clean white fur.
She was slender, quite older and taller than me from what I could see. Adorned in a dark-blue armless cloth, with a golden necklace around her neck and armband on both arms. She didn't seem startled but rather was smiling at me as her voice, seemed familiar.
'Whut a yut?' Why did my words sound stupid now, i was speaking perfectly fine moments ago.
"Drink up first, Son." She said, seeming to have heard and understood me. As she reached down and out of my line of sight for something. Her words finally sinking in a second later.
Son? Did I hear it clearly? That's my mother!
Soon getting back in view, she now held out an object. It was cylindrical in shape, having a narrow neck, with the lid reminding me of something— a feeder. An object used to give nutrients to Binies back home, as I used to feed one of my uncle's own with it, those cute little things.
But wait, who's she giving that to?
Meee?!
I'm the Biny here?!
"Not hungry, Moisi?" She asked, gently shaking the feeder containing a whitish substance, as she seemed to expect a reaction from me.
Thinking about it, I did feel a budding pang in me as I looked at it. So stretching my hands to reach for it, i noticed a frown prop up her face.
"What do you think you're doing?"
Did she just go dark or did I do something wrong? Probably both, though it seemed to be the latter.
"You think you can even hold it? Not taking any chances just because you're different."
'Huh?' Different, what did she mean about being different?
"Aahhum!" She opened her mouth looking at me as if expecting me to do say, which I did the same— instinctively.
"Gooood." The feeder broke through my teeth, into my— wait wait, what the zhraki! Nothing was there, I don't have teeth?! Binies had toned of them but they weren't sharp, so how?!
Well, it didn't matter anymore, for what gushed into my mouth was omilabino[Heavenly]. The taste, mmm I'd long forgotten how it was to be a Biny— ah bambinaloo, this was so so good.
'Eh!' My eyes shot open as the feeder left my mouth, cutting off my sweet supply of nutrients. The shock on my face seemed evident as she smiled, squeaking a few words. "Don't be stingy, your siblings also need their share ok."
Siblings? Which siblings?
"Plero, Jmanji and Eri." She called out, the sound of movement and light squeaks coming from right behind me.
Slowly, partially petrified, I turned around onto to be met by three skinny things which looked like my mother. Was that how I looked like?
Waking up at mother's call, though I couldn't say they actually woke up, since their eyes were still closed. The three stood up on all fours, running towards me and bumping into each other on the way. Somehow going past me without a hit, they got to the edge and hopped off onto her. Squeaking loudly throughout.
"My strong babies!" She exclaimed with her hands stretched out wide, and a smile up her face.
"Eek, now now, calm down you three— haha." All trying to climb up to her face–i guess– with their eyes closed, she giggled, trying to control their peskiness.
"It's here, it's here." Shaking the feeder they seemed to catch the smell easily, their aim changing all of a sudden.
Being unstable and moving about throughout, she fed them also, all three emptying it up. Going right back to sleep almost instantly after, while all I did was watch.
Done with them, her attention returned to me, her words failing to snap me out of my daze. "Come here, time for your weaning. I'll introduce you to the others okay." I nodded in response, my eyes glued on her face. Her hands reaching to grab me, somehow covering the distance or maybe I was that close?
It didn't matter, unlike what I currently had my eyes on, for I could see something in her eyes, myself. I didn't know how, but I could see my face. How was that even possible? Of course anyone would ask how sure I was, that it was me I could see. Yet taking a logical approach, there wasn't a way to have another sibling there. Wait, what if— noo that would be brutal, I'd better not think about it.
Taking me into her arms, it was shocking how little I was, she was this tall that even the ground seemed far and scary. "You're lucky dinner was specially made by me— hehe. I promise you'll love it."
Eh, made by her? Just like the nutrients, I was in for more of anything then, as long as it was from her. "Aren't you a cheerful one, Moisi." Eek, her smile and eyes so close up was doing something to me. It felt as if there was nothing to worry about anymore, what was it even called ah yes— peace.
Me snuggling into her warmness, I couldn't even tell when she'd as my eyes had shut on its own. Until they flew open, as another voice was heard alongside some other movements, which didn't come from mother.
"Mi Lady." The voice said. Was that mother's name?
The voice in particular was deeper than mother's, a masculine voice. Curious to find out who it was, I got up as much as I could to get a view only to be met by metal.
Yes, the figure was tall and in fullmetal armour, from head to toe including his hidden face. His ears also stuck out, unlike mine and that of my siblings which seemed to be folded in. Another one who looked like mother, no I can't believe it! Is that, is that my— nope, not a chance.
"Thank you for watching over my babies." Mother said, receiving a slight nod in response, and was walking away the next moment.
