The atmosphere screamed it's tenseness though all were silent, as my eyes shifted between mother and the fullmetals.
"Do I get to know why?" Mother squeaked with her voice as soft as ever.
Yet they definitely didn't look like they were up for an explanation. "Please." She added.
"Well this ain't ya usual cozy surface. So we'd gotta keep'em far from it as possible." The feminine fullmetal finally said seemingly glancing at me.
"I see, but I don't think I'll be abl—"
Huh? I suddenly heard metals leaving their holds. What's happening here?!
"We won't be repeating oursalves again, Mi Lady." A deep voice was heard as the other spoke. From my view I could barely see her entire face or eyes, but I could tell she wasn't taking it well. For with each passing second she'd try to stable her trembling hands.
"The entire place is safe, it wouldn't hurt him. Just please..."
'Eek!' A wave of shock swept through me as I heard the doors suddenly fly open with figures dashing in. It all happened very fast, since when I got another look at those fullmetals. They were in the grip of what I'd call halfmetals, each having daggers at their necks.
"My lady."
"My lady."
The two new figures said with a slight nod of their heads. As their initial words, sounded quite different from what I'd heard earlier.
"Let...me...go..." The feminine fullmetal protested, struggling to break free yet her protests only brought the weapon closer. "You'd better shut it, vermin."
"Darling, I can see these...rats, are giving you trouble." Before us was a figure in a tunic which was flashy enough to suit his smuggish smile.
Darling? The words rang in my head as the realization poked me with it's finger. Is that? Is that? Is that my f—
"Oh dear brother, please let them go. You don't want to be having any troubles with them."
Phew! Such a relief, though it wasn't as if it would have been a bad thing if he actually was my father. Well he looked similar to my mother after all, white fur and bright blue eyes. As taking another look at the two who'd entered beforehand, they both also had white fur, their eyes being a darker shade of blue.
"Anything for you darl—"
Huh? Did something happen again, my eyes were on the full and halfmetals now apart each other when shifting my gaze. I was met with the tunic being closer than it previously was. For slowly looking up, a certain feeling I couldn't pinpoint suddenly swept through me. As currently a few meters above me were glowing blue eyes.
"You'll scare him, Filip."
I'd have to be asking about how mother does that later on, for I was beyond scared if that was possible and I could bet on his life that I hadn't left the arms of mother. However, it was as if I'd been slammed into the ground with a boulder crushing me further with each passing second. Though I would have been long done for, with just the slamming in this current state.
"Hmmm, I'd be guessing it's the other way round." He mumbled, the words going in one ear and exiting through the other the next second. "We are going to be spending some bonding time together, little Moisi."
I gulped down hard, literally catching every single word this time round and knowing it— wait? How? How did he know my name again?
Drawing closer to mother and saying something in her ear, she nodded briefly. "I'll be escorting you out then, Sis." He then stepped aside giving way to her as the other two seemed to tag along.
I could catch him say something to the others, though I wasn't able to make up the words. Yet one wouldn't expect it to obviously be a 'thank you', considering earlier.
Silently, mother made her way towards who knew where, as I was quite busy with what I was up to currently— sneak peaking.
I sure had the ghost knocked out of me earlier, yet something which I couldn't tell, was driving me to take a good look at him once again. It wasn't like I'd wanted to get that dreadful feeling once again, though as long as I didn't look at his eyes, getting a quick look would be a success. So to do this required a full proof plan, as we'd have to narrow our chances to just one.
Gathering the courage after almost a minute, I slowly brought out my head. My eyes had just went over mother's arm and about seeing behind when there it was. A pair of ambers staring straight in and out of my soul, I was definitely done for.
"Rawr!" Uncle made a weird sound, scrunching his face and clawing at me as that only—
*BADUMP!!
Whatever had held my heart in my body deserved all my thanks, as I could have bet it had nearly left me and fallen onto the ground. I wanted to hide away somewhere or anywhere. What if he grabsme and plucks my eyes for peeking? Mother wouldn't allow that right? I'd better grabbed onto her tighter.
"Filip, you'd scare the sunshines out of him before, little Moisi can even think for himself."
But wait a minute? Does she? Do they think, I have no brains or what? The words had surely flicked a switch.
"Hey, he wanted to admire his handsome Uncle of his, but you know..."
"You hate people having their way easily." I barely heard any of what was being said. "Even for him?"
"Definitely for him, do you forget who you're wedlocked to sometimes, darling."
What's even happening to me? Why was I even behaving like this, it was just like a typical biny. Hiding, getting scared though I wasn't joking about that and now sneak peeking— they think I'm a puny brained biny, jah.
[Aren't you?]
'Hah, you're funny. Who knows, I'd soon end up pikabooing and agugugagaing.'
[Exactly, you said you missed being a biny and now you're—]
'Chip, we need to get rid of any binicious behaviours or else we'd be losing ourselves.'
[Well, If you say so. It's not like anyone is listening to —]
I suddenly heard unfamiliar voices say something brief with doors opening up the next second. My eyes darted around, completely alien to this environment as the area was brightly lit and captivating. All around, I could see faces I'd never seen before with all of them now looking at me.
"Ehhh, is that Moisi!"
My eyes shot wide open, as I suddenly succumbed into laughter without hearing anything funny.
'Yekp, yekp...agugugagaaaa!'
[This isn't going to be anywhere easy.]
"Guguuuuu!! Gagagagaaa!"
[°︵°– oh gosh!]
