As they traversed the small distance. Lynette's heartbeat started raising with each and every step, while her face turned redder and redder with ever breath. Suddenly, Sythrik spoke, "Is it this one?" as he pointed toward an open restaurant.
With a quick a nod and a reassuring smile, she said, "Yup, that's the place."
"Yup?" Sythrik repeated with a sly grin. "What happened to the serious noble lady from before?" he teased.
Her cheeks faintly radiated a redness like that of a child being praised by their parents. "I'll have you know that this is who I'm usually like!" she said with a pout, childish in all accepts except physically.
Sythrik looked at her with a joyful expression for a moment, then said, "I know.. Wanna go eat, I'm starving at this point!" Lynette nodded and said, "Ready whenever you are."
To her surprise, Sythrik took a slightly bowed form, gesturing for her to move first, "ladies first."
Her nervousness quickly disappeared as she moved passed him and chuckled lightly. Sythrik smiled, sensing that he had finally eased her. However, he did not know why she was so tense the entire time, completely dull when it came to romance!
He followed behind her lead for a moment and laid his suspicions aside, until they reached an unexpected line. "Seems like we'll have to wait a little." Sythrik said. Luckily the line was a small one, so small it was barely noticeable. "The restaurant usually don't have this many customers. Makes me wonder if there's a reason..." Lynette said while counting the line of people.
Sythrik chuckled and said, "I think you might be over complicating things. The weather is nice and warm, I wouldn't find it surprising if the folk wished to eat their meal outside for once."
Lynette took a deep breath that escaped only from her nostrils. She tapped her shoulders repeatedly with crossed arms, itching to find out the reason and food to eat.
Finally, after an uncertain, yet small amount of time had passed, was it their turn. They met a waiter clad in a blue and white dress. The girl was rather small yet normal in personality. Her appearance was that of an average high school girl, simply wanting to make some money on her free time. The waiter's lips parted as she asked, "Do you have a reservation?". the duo simultaneously said, "no, we do not."
Sythrik chuckled while Lynette tried to keep herself composed and noble in front of others, exuding that noble-like personality Sythrik has teased her about from before. The waiter's gaze seemed to linger a bit on Lynette's before finally saying, "Then, please follow me."
As the two followed the young waitress, a young boy could be seen taking her place, then that very boy shouted with both hands lined around his mouth, "We are currently full! Please come back in half an hour if possible!"
Sythrik looked at Lynette and said, "How lucky of us to get the last table." Lynette nodded before asking the waitress a question, "Pardon me, but is there a special occasion for this amount of attraction?" The young waitress smiled, her blonde hair flailing in the wind as she said, "There is currently a man of great renown eating his dinner here at this very restaurant! that's also why we've put up fences and upped our security for the time being."
They both looked quite shocked at the statement. However, Sythrik noticed some small missing pieces, "If he is of such great renown, then why eat at a restaurant known for it's openness? That could put him under either great danger or exhaustion from dealing with countless fans." He looked silently around the open are, seeing a mass of people all gazing with joyous glints, waving without rest, and shouting for his recognition. His gaze lingered upon the man in question, almost observing his very essence.
The young man looked only a little younger than himself, with blue eyes, and blond hair that was combed neatly backwards, leaving only a few strands to stand in an almost purposeful attempt. "He look just like any other above-average blonde guys in my opinion..." Sythrik murmured to himself, watching the famous young man eating in a noble-like manner. Fork in his left, knife in his right, slow and precise movements while cutting the juicy meat, and at last wiping off of his mouth after every bite.
"Do you know of him?" Lynette asked, seeing his observing gaze. "I don't think I do, just found him interesting." Sythrik answered solemnly.
Lynette looked at him with a mix of disappointment and disbelief, asking with an almost distressed tone, "I-I didn't know you swung that way, Sythrik..." Sythrik could not help but raise an eyebrow, "huh?" After a second he realized what she meant and waved around dismissively, "N-No! That wasn't what I meant! I simply found it weird how one of his fame came to chose such an open area to eat his meal!"
Lynette breathed a sigh of relief as she finally got an explanation. "I see now.. That makes much more sense..."
Suddenly, a voice cut through their conversation, "sir, miss, here is your table. On top is the menu, plate and the utensil. As well as a handkerchief placed under a rock. Remember to place it under the rock again if used, and call if you need anything." The waitress turned around and continued with her work.
A moment after the waitress left, the duo stood silently gazing over the table... Sythrik took one of the two chairs and pulled it out. He stood next, resting one of his hands atop it's frame as he said with a gentleman's tone, "Aren't you going to sit, miss Lynette?" Taken aback, she asked, "When did you become so extravagant?" flustered by his considerate actions. It wasn't that he never was considerate of others, but he had never considerate in this manner before.
Sythrik pushed her seat gently toward the table, then walked over opposite of her and sat himself down. The two brushed through the menu and scanned it's contents without regards for price or amount.
"I've chosen, what about you?" Sythrik said.
Lynette took a small moment to consider her options until eventually replying, "I'm ready to order whenever."
Sythrik clapped his hands together and said, "then its decided." He took a moment to search for waiters, and when he finally spotted the same girl from before, he reached his hand to the sky and held his gaze in place.
When the waiter realized, she quickly but carefully closed the distance as she asked, "Have you come to a conclusion?" leaning in with a paper and pen in hand.
The two nodded. "You can go first, Lynette." Sythrik said, almost in an attempt to show off his gentlemanliness. Lynette let out a small chuckled and said her orders with a smile in toe, and so did Sythrik after her with the same, kind smile.
"Alright, then. Your orders will be there as soon as possible. Anything to drink in the meanwhile?" The waitress asked with gentle smile.
"Could I get a cup of water?" Sythrik requested with his usual tone.
"Of course! Then what about you, miss?"
Lynette thought deeply, not minding Sythrik's ordinary nature and plain requests. "Can I get a tea of your choosing? Whatever you deem the best!"
"Of course, I will try my best!" She said. "If that is all, then I'll take my leave. Once again, if there is anything you need or struggle with just come and ask, or even shout if necessary." With that, the young waitress turned around and stepped into the kitchen to inform the chef.
After a small moment of silence, just as Sythrik was about to strike a conversation. He felt a hand grab him by the shoulders, accompanied by a young and soft, boyish voice, "pardon me, sir? But are you perhaps Sythrik Montague? the brother of Selena Montague?"
