Caius smiled as if though the faint flicker of life within exploded into wildfire, fostering a new "meaning" or perhaps "reason" for living. Albeit faint, it was still a lot.
With a small chuckle he said, "Sythrik F-Finlay.. I will be heading out to sort out some stuff, have to be quick due to the small reservoir of life I hold. I will fix the paper work for the name inheritance so take the day off." After a few seconds he came up with a small plan, "let's meet up again in 4 days time to sort things out."
Sythrik gave a worried look saying, "Won't you need any help? If its packing stuff or simple errands, whatever it is don't feel afraid to ask me for help."
Caius smiled at his selflessness and said, "I will keep that in mind." as he stood up, stretching ever so slightly.
"Well, I have a lot to do today so I'll get going. Feel free to use this building however you want."
Sythrik smiled under a dark veil of shadows. He stood up and stretched his young arms in the air, then lean to each side letting out a small grunt. "I'll take my leave as well. Have yet to eat dinner.
"I see, then lets head out together." Caius spoke as he walked towards the small corridor with a following Sythrik.
Sythrik only put on his shoes as they reached the exit, while Caius on the other hand, put on both a black coat and a rounded black hat. Sythrik stared at him in disbelief and asked, "Pardon me, but... Won't that be a little hot?"
Caius, fully understanding simply said, "I've been feeling colder than usual so I try to wear warm clothes as much as possible, even if the sun is scorching upon us."
"I see..." Sythrik spoke quietly, barely above a whisper as he followed him out the door.
As they stepped down the four steps, now at ground's true height, Caius asked, "You said u have yet to eat dinner isn't that so?" Sythrik replied simply, "That's right. Did you want to-"
"Sythrik?!" Lynette spoke loudly in surprise.
Sythrik was amused by the sudden reunion and said, "Good to see you Lynette." His eyes suddenly drifted away, now pointed at her attire. She wore white dress stretching down to her ankles, almost touching her plain brown sandals. It was rather plain but beautiful all the same. Around her left arm curled a silver wristband. Her hair was flowing freely down her frail back, unriddled by the chains of formality.
"I see you've changed you style. Usually you would be basking around in formal attire or overcomplicated clothing styles." He mused. Her face suddenly turned beat red as she spoke, "I-I don't know what you're talking about!?!? This is what I usually wear you know!!!"
as they bonded, completely ignorant of their own chemistry, old man Caius could not help but chuckle to himself. With a sly move, he quickly interrupted them, "Miss, have you had dinner yet?" Lynette quickly re-organized herself and answered, "not yet, why?" He smiled mischievously, yet innocently as he suggested, "What a coincidence. You know, Sythrik has yet eaten himself."
Caius took out one gold coin and two silver coins, then said, "Here, take this and buy yourselves something good to eat." Hiding his deceptive expression with a gentle smile.
"You sure?" Sythrik asked, completely oblivious to the matter at hand. "Of course, take it and enjoy yourselves." Caius said, then waved a dismissive wave while walking away.
After a small moment of silence, Sythrik finally spoke, "Wanna get going? Its not often people like us can go out to eat after all." The nervousness settled within her, attaining a certain level of composure, just enough to let her think straight. "You're right, we should cherish this opportunity." Lynette said as she finally saw reason again.
A sudden realization took hold of her as she asked, "We forgot to thank him!"
Sythrik chuckled and said, "Don't worry, I can thank him in your stead next time we meet." to ease her worry. "Anyway," he said, grabbing her attention before he continued, "Where do you wanna eat?"
She looked at him for a moment before finally coming up with a calculated answer, "I'll tell, only if you introduce me to the old man."
"Is that so? You like him?" Sythrik teased. "Maybe I do! Got a problem with that?" She joked back rendering Sythrik dumbfounded.
After a moment of silence, the duo burst out laughing.
"Didn't know you could make jokes, Ms serious." Sythrik said as he halted his laugh, leaving only an echo of light chuckles.
"Could say the same about you, book worm." She teased back, letting her own laugh become an echo as well.
A very small moment of silence passed before she decided, and said, "How about the restaurant right around the corner here? I've heard its pretty good and sell for good prices, not only that, Its close. Pretty convenient wouldn't you say?" Sythrik nodded, and said, "Well then, lead the way, miss Lynette."
