Chapter 2 - The Unwanted Guest

Saitama had naïvely assumed that Tatsumaki would get bored and leave quickly, like a passing storm. What he didn't know was that this particular storm had decided to settle in his living room—without an invitation.

Ten minutes passed…

Ten minutes of complete silence, except for the TV, which was playing a ridiculous commercial about a shampoo that "makes your hair shine like the moonlight." Given that Saitama was completely bald, this felt like a personal insult.

He slowly turned his head toward Tatsumaki. She was sitting on the couch, legs crossed, arms folded, and eyes locked onto him as if waiting for him to make a dumb move so she could crush him.

He tried to ignore her…

He tried to focus on the TV…

But he couldn't.

"How long do you plan on staying here?" he finally asked with a sigh.

"Until you fight me," she replied without hesitation.

"I said no."

"Then I'll stay."

"... Do you even have a life?"

"And do you?"

Silence.

That was a direct hit. A finishing move with no mercy. It was as if she had thrown a Rasengan straight into his soul.

But Saitama was a veteran in the art of ignoring things, so he chose not to respond and went back to watching TV.

Moments later, Tatsumaki started floating around the apartment, inspecting it like a crime scene. She entered the kitchen, opened the fridge, stared inside… then closed it immediately as if she had seen something no human should ever witness.

"How are you still alive with this diet?" she asked in disgust.

"Somehow… I'm still here," he replied indifferently.

She raised an eyebrow, then moved toward the bathroom, opened the door, took a quick glance… and shut it instantly.

"You're disgusting," she said as she returned to the couch.

"Thanks for the compliment."

She didn't reply. She just scowled at him. It was annoying. In fact, it was really annoying. He wasn't used to having someone invade the peaceful, boring life he had carefully built.

"Listen, don't you have things to do? The Hero Association? Protecting the city? Saving cats from trees? Anything other than invading my life?"

"All of that is boring," she said with a yawn. "But you… you're interesting."

Saitama blinked. "Me? Interesting?"

"Yeah. No one else dares to ignore me like this," she said, staring straight at him.

He thought for a moment before asking, "…Is this some kind of masochism?"

Her face turned red for a second, but she quickly recovered and screamed, "Whaaaaat?!"

Energy surged around her, causing small objects to float in the air, but Saitama ignored her and kept watching TV.

She took a deep breath, calmed herself down, and said confidently, "That's fine… I'll take my time with you."

He raised an eyebrow. "That sounds kinda creepy."

She smirked as she stretched out on the couch, looking like she was planning a long-term invasion.

And that's when Saitama realized…

This wasn't just a brief visit.

This was the beginning of a daily nightmare.
