Chapter - 28
While Iris was working her ass off, Lucius was getting bored inside the house.
"It's so boring without her," Lucius climbed down the stairs as he thought about Iris.
They may bicker all the time, but he has gotten used to her.
But as he got down, the usually bustling servants in the house were nowhere to be seen.
"What is it with this house?" Lucius sighed, "The servants are always on leave."
"But why should I care. I am not paying them, and I have my own 24*7 personal attendant," Lucius was having the time of his life. He didn't know if he lived so well before the accident, or was it part of some elaborate scam.
"Maybe she wants to harvest my organs," But Lucius didn't really care about that anymore. He was happy to be the lamb which was getting stuffed before sacrifice.
While thinking all this, Lucius stepped out for some fresh air. He walked into the garden, and the air felt cool and breezy.
As he walked near the pool, his eyes caught sight of a beautiful girl sitting at the edge, her legs dipped into the water as she enjoyed herself.
She wore a sleek black two piece bikini that was small, tight, and made to stand out. The bikini clung to her body and wrapped around her curves in just the right way.
The bikini bra fit around her full and tempting boobs, lifting and shaping them perfectly. Lucius's gaze stopped on those boobs for a few seconds. He could feel his pants getting tighter the more he looked at them.
The thin straps of her bra rested gently on her shoulders, showing off her smooth skin.
Meanwhile the bottom of her bikini sat low on her hips, leaving her toned waist fully visible. And her smooth long legs were just waiting to be admired.
But as he looked at her round, soft ass, the curves made him want to pick her up in his arms and feel her soft skin.
Lucius approached the girl with slow and curious steps. And as she sensed someone approaching, the girl looked up and saw him.
Her eyes moved from top to bottom, scanning him from head to toe and a teasing smirk curled up her lips.
"I haven't seen you around here before?" Lucius asked as he stopped a few feet away.
The girl stood up slowly, water dripping from her legs, "I am Cassey," she said with a playful tone.
" I am Iris's cousin. And I am guessing… you are the very handsome assistant I have heard so much about?" The girl guessed as her long blonde hair flowed freely down her back, a little messy from the breeze.
The soft glow of the setting sun sparkled the thin silver chain around her ankle, adding to her natural beauty.
"I am sure they were all good things," Lucius gave a light nod, "Lucius."
Cassey tilted her head, still smiling. Her eyes lingered on his face for a while before moving down and stopping on his crotch, "Well, Iris clearly knows how to pick them."
"You are nothing like any assistant I have seen before," she said with a soft laugh.
Lucius smirked, "And you don't look like someone who would spend her days alone in a pool."
"Mmm," she replied, stepping a little closer, "Maybe I came to relax… Or maybe I am up for other things as well."
Lucius raised an eyebrow, "Well, I am sure you will enjoy your time here. Even I might come in handy if you need."
"But for now I will let you enjoy your swim," Lucius said as he walked past her, "Bye Bye young miss."
Cassey watched his back with a wicked grin, "Hot and cold. That's interesting," she murmured as her hand cupped her boobs and she gave them a light squeeze.
"Mhmmm… I already want him so bad."

By evening, Iris returned home. After changing and freshening up, she walked to the room next door and stopped in front of Lucius's room.
Without knocking she walked in and found him fast asleep, lying flat on the bed like he had no worries in the world.
"Did I bring myself a corpse with me?" with a small smirk, she picked up a pillow from the couch and hit him right in the face.
"Hey! It's not time to sleep. Wake up," she said loudly.
Lucius groaned and rubbed his eyes, "What the fuck? Is this how you guys wake up people in this house?" he said, his voice rough with sleep.
"Stop whining," Iris said, arms crossed, "I need to talk to you."
Lucius blinked a few times, trying to shake off the sleep, "What is it? Can't it wait?"
Iris walked toward the large window and looked outside to her vast estate. After a pause, she turned back to face him.
"I am flying to India tomorrow night. I will be gone for a week."
Lucius sat up straighter, "India? So far? Why? What's so important?"
"I have some business matters to settle. A few meetings that I need to be there for in person," Iris told him.
Lucius raised an eyebrow, "So you are asking me to come with you?"
"Not really," Iris shook her head, "I am going alone."
He frowned, "Are you sure that's a good idea? What about your aunt and that cousin of yours… Cassey was it? Aren't they going to be around for a few days?"
Iris gave him a sharp look, "That's exactly why I am here."
She walked closer, her voice firmer, "While I am gone, you better keep your distance from my aunt. And definitely stay away from Cassey."
Lucius leaned back and gave a lecherous smirk, "Cassey, huh? Your sexy cousin in the bikini?"
His smirk grew wider as he remembered her figure by the pool, "Maybe I should go check if she needs help swimming again."
Iris's eyes narrowed as he saw him almost drooling, "Lucius…"
He laughed, "Relax. I was just joking. Maybe."
"She is trouble," Iris warned, "Don't fall for that sweet act of hers. She is good at playing games."
"So don't get involved in anything that can cause trouble for me while I am gone. Got it?"
Lucius gave a playful shrug, "Fine, fine. I will behave."
Then he added with a grin, "Unless she asks nicely."
"Ugh, you are such a dog," Iris muttered, shaking her head.
"Anyway, you don't have to worry about me laying my hands on your beloved sister," Lucius shrugged.
"You are coming?" Iris raised her eyebrows, "Why don't you use the time while I am gone to rest and maybe have another check up at the hospital."
"You don't know how hard it was for me to spend the day without you," Lucius told Iris, "Only in the evening that I could…"
"I know I know you ladykiller, you don't need to say it again and again…" She rolled her eyes looking at him, "Fine, but if your wounds start hurting again, don't come crying to me."
Lucius smirked, "Please, I am not a kid."
"Let me judge that then," Iris muttered under her breath, "So take off your shirt."
Lucius raised an eyebrow, "Whoa, Iris. Didn't know you were in the mood tonight."
"Since you asked, you will get it," Lucius said, unbuttoning his shirt.
Iris shot him a look, "Oh shut up you idiot. I just want to check your wounds. Make sure they are not opening again."
"Ohh, is that so?" he looked disappointed but continued to unbutton his shirt, "You raise my hopes ever so often… Only to pour water on them… Huhhh."
"How can you be so dramatic all the time?" she said, sitting on the bed.

Outside Lucius's room, Cassey stood leaning against the wall, listening intently. She didn't look displeased, instead she was enjoying the conversation between them.
"I will not let you have him all to yourself," she muttered with a smirk.
She could feel that there was something between Lucius and Iris. Something that Iris wasn't letting them know. She has had a lot of assistants working for her before and none of them was a man. More so, she would never let them stay for dinner, let alone feed them at the house for days.
Surely this Lucius guy was no ordinary one. Maybe she was just using this all 'Working for me' cover to hide something else. And she was going to find it out, no matter what.
No way she was going to sit back and let this happen.
"I would have used your absence to work my charm on this guy," She smirked, "But now looks like I will be joining you both in India."
She turned swiftly, heading towards her room. She would find a way to follow them, no matter what.
"I better get something for my tan."

Meanwhile in the room Iris dipped her fingers into the ointment given to them by the hospital. She then gently applied it to Lucius's bruises.
But Iris just gently applied the ointment on his wounds with a focused face.
Lucius looked at her and couldn't help but say, "You always have this serious look when you are near me?"
"I am always like this. There is nothing special about you," She didn't look up at him.
But Lucius wasn't letting it go, "I have tried to come up with so many excuses as to why someone like you would save me."
"But I couldn't find any."
"Just because I worked for you?" Lucius shook his head, "There are thousands of people working for you."
"And even if that was the case. At max you would pay for my treatment."
"You wouldn't go search for me, only to find me in some place where no one could guess I can be."
"Then bring me to your house. Feed me, take care of me and even fight with your family for me."
"Unless, you love me…" Lucius held her hand and pulled her closer.
"Or, I have something that you need," Lucius spoke word by word, "Maybe not desperately."
"But you need it."
