Earth 7 years later, 2032.
Television in the background, "The Hell Project is currently at ninety-eight percent completion and is on schedule to be completed by October 31st. Which is in two days. This project is expected to reduce carbon emission to five percent over the next ten years and down to one in fifteen."
Hospital nurse, "Do you believe that this will actually help the world doctor?"
"Ha. It'll be more believable if this guy wakes up than this so-called 'Hell Project' will help us." Points to Jeremiah sleeping soundly in a coma.
"I don't know doctor. Most people that get struck by lightning either die immediately or live to tell the tale, but he has been in a coma ever since." Nurse looks at the heart monitor and EEG. "The only time his heart rate ever fluctuated was when he was first brought in."
"Yeah it is weird." Doctor walks over to the monitor and looks over the information. "Oh well nothing we can do besides wait and see." Walk towards the door. "Come now we have other patients to see."
"Yes doctor." Follow the doctor out of the room. She takes one last look at the before finally leaving.
"Doctor, wait. Look!" Points to the EEG as it begins to fluctuate.
"Nurse call for backup. It seems that he is waking up!" Look over to the nurse. "Hurry now! This is a borderline miracle."

Inside Jeremiah's mind.
"Where am I? Am I alive? What's that sound outside?" Look down at the dark skinned body floating in what looks like a cloud. "Is this me? I thought I was supposed to be dead.
"Am I in heaven? No it must be hell, but hell is rumored to be on fire most of the time. So where am I?" Attempts to move in any direction. "I really wished I learned how to swim before I died."
Starts move forward slowly towards a dark shining light in the distance. "Well this seems to be my only sense of direction for now.*
As he gets closer to the light spark of electricity begins to circle around him and the so-called clouds that surround him.
"Maybe this is all just a dream and I'll wake up any second. Yeah. Let's go with that." Faintly hears thunder in the background. "What that thunder?" Keep moving closer to the light.
"These sparks are getting bigger and bigger the closer I go." Reaches his hands out to touch the spark. "They're... soft? I thought electricity was supposed to hurt." He plays with the sparks as the thunder gets louder and louder.
"Yeah. I could get used to this." Unconsciously wills the sparks to spin around him.
Slowly turns around to realize that he has reached the light that shines in the area. "It's dimmer than I thought." Touches the giant ball of light.
A deep voice with the sound of thunder echoes through the area. "My child. It is time. You must awaken and help prevent ruin in your world or help it's destruction. There will be others to help you and those against you, but find you're own path."
Jeremiah slowly begins to absorb the giant ball of dark light. "Use these powers as you wish, but beware. Do not use more than you can handle." The voice continues.
"Now my child. Go forth and spread the name of the storm." The voice thunders before fading away into the void as Jeremiah absorbs the light.
"Yes, I shall use these powers for my own use." Takes both arms and grabs what he can of the light. "I am feeling," shoves the light into his body, "electric!"
Jeremiah slowly begins to awaken.
