[Flashback]
Eero's POV
I glanced back at Michka and my heart skipped a beat; she reminded me of someone special to me... Sophie.
I thought I loved her, she was the first human that really caught my attention, I was smitten by her; until one day...
While going up an elevator, I spotted Sophie across the Hall talking to someone, my eyes widened with hate as I recognised the person —Drex!
But first, let me start from the beginning...
[Four years ago]
(Metropolia university of Applied sciences)
I walked casually to the classroom assigned to me when I suddenly bumped into someone.
I was in a rush out of the Vice Chancellor's office when I bumped into the stranger.
This isn't a romantic movie so her books didn't fall but I really fell for her;
She had red silky hair and Leo eyes.
I quickly apologised but she walked away swiftly before I even got a chance to say hi. I wanted to know more about her but I was late and so I couldn't afford wasting more time.
Getting to my classroom which was just a few steps away, I noticed that the Professor was already present and so, I hastened my steps.
"And why are you late Miss" the comical Professor asked looking straight at me.
I knew for the fact that my hair was long and blonde: anyone would mistaken me to be a girl.. maybe?..
I was about to correct him when someone suddenly spoke up from behind me.
"Had a rough morning, won't happen again. Sir"
Turning around, it was the same girl from before, turns out she was in the same class as me. But she didn't seem like a new student to me—and she wasn't.
"And you?, mind telling us who you are?"
No doubt he was referring to me this time.
"A Mr Martti.. Eero-Sie " I muttered.
Sie was actually my last name but I preferred adding it as an attachment to my first name.
I don't regard Martti as my last name cuz it's just a name given to me by my adopted brothers.
Everyone's eyes were glued to me but I was used to getting this type of attention so I just casually walked over to my seat.
But that was when this guy —Drex Lusue stepped in.
He stuck out his feet for me to trip over and I did.
That was when he started calling me hideous names like "bimbo.. loser.. idiot"
That was way too childish for me. And if I was to lash out at him then I would just end up blowing my cover, so I stayed put and grabbed a seat, ignoring him like Hell.
I managed to gain admission into college to live a normal life and I wasn't gonna let Drex ruin it for me.
I could see the hateful look in his eyes which only made me wonder if humans were indeed better than Vampires as they claim. Because to me—this guy was the worst.
Drex wouldn't stop causing trouble for me throughout the rest of lectures.
I concluded that he was only being jealous of me because of the way girls crush on me and so I decided— 'I was going to make the best of it !'
I was just flirting with a damsel when Sophie walked past me and again —that electric feeling. I spotted Drex across the Hallway and I didn't have the time to be bothered by him.
Drex walked up to her and held hands with her and I knew he knew just how much I hated it.
Walking into a nearby elevator I tried to calm the anger that was boiling up in me.
That's where we are now:
Seconds later, the door opened and Sophie walked in. I couldn't maintain my excitement and I was about to strike up a conversation with her when the elevator suddenly stopped.
