The Wobblebridge stretched high across the sky, swaying gently in the wind. It was made of soft glass ropes and rainbow mist, and it shimmered like a dream.
Nimbus flapped nervously. "I've never crossed it before. They say the bridge only stays solid if you believe in yourself."
Theo looked down. "It's… really high."
Luna stepped forward. "Then we'll go one step at a time. Together."
Poppycorn snorted. "We've faced jelly grass and colorless caves. We've got this!"
The four friends stepped onto the bridge. It wobbled.
They wobbled too.
"Okay," said Theo, "let's try not looking down."
"But let's look forward," Luna said, pointing ahead. "Do you see that?"
Far in the distance, a tree stood on a floating hill of light. Its branches were bare—but glowing faintly, like it was trying to remember its color.
"The Cloudberry Tree," whispered Nimbus.
With each careful step, the bridge shimmered brighter. But halfway across, a wind picked up.
"Who dares cross my sky?" came a rumbling voice.
A cloud spirit swirled in front of them, shaped like a giant owl with feathers made of fog.
"Only those who know who they truly are may pass," it said.
Nimbus stepped forward. "I'm Nimbus. I may be small and starry, but I'm a dragon with a gentle heart."
Poppycorn fluttered up. "I'm Poppycorn. I may be a pig with a horn, but I believe in big magic—even when others don't."
Theo stood tall. "I'm Theo. I love words and stories, and I'm not afraid to speak kindly."
Luna smiled. "I'm Luna. I see the world in colors others miss, and I love just the way I imagine."
The owl cloud blinked. Then it bowed.
"You may pass," it whispered. "Your truth shines brighter than fear."
The bridge became solid beneath their feet, lighting the way with sparkles as they ran the final steps—
—until they reached the hill.
