"Surprised? Shocked?" The man's parted lips and words came out.
"I told you I would find you." He continued while looking at her face that was showing not a single emotion. Lalith was also looking at her with her blank eyes.
"You….! Okay, okay my mistake. I apologise." The man apologised to her ; "Is not like I barged in this room when you are taking shower." The man said with a small laugh.
Lalith continued looking at him with blank face. The man now felt a little guilty at his immoral behaviour.
" Girl, I sincerely apologised for my barging but I can't be seen to anyone else so I had to come directly. Beside I am like your father, look approx same age" He presented his compulsion.
"Fine! But next time, give me a hint before coming like this.You are an angle,You can do anything right. So keep that in mind." Lalith finally forgiven him but with a condition.
"Mhmm. I will ring a bell two times that only you can hear before coming." The man compromised; " So? Happy with your life?" He asked.
Lalith kept silent while looking down, she was thinking of all the happenings within a day after being reborn.
"Hmmmmm" with all the happenings she didn't know what so she replied with a nodd.
"Great." Seeing that she was doing okay he continued; "Girl, actually I am in a hurry, I just came today to give you something." The man said then stood up from the bed and walked to Lalith.
Lalith who was sitting on couch looked up to the man questionably. "What?" Her dark black eyes looked at the man walking to her side then extending his right hand, he placed his thumb on the middle of her brows. And a faint white light entered into the place he touched her . After ten seconds he retreated his hand.
" Done"
Not understanding anything Lalith who went into daze for exactly the same ten seconds, finally came into her senses. She stared at his face , as if asking what happened.
"The man who sent you the heaven made a mistake. Because your life was still not over, so because of your inconvenience God decided to bestowed you a small gift."
The man chuckled and replied, looking in a good mood. "The gift was power of knowing one's lie and to hypnotise someone just by looking into their eyes."
"Ohh and to erase the effect of hypnotism, you just need to clap." The man said and walked to the door. While Lalith was looking, he gestured a bye and without opening the door he walked out as if the door was never there for him.
Stunned Lalith ran to the door and opened it see if he was still there, because there is something she needed to ask. But when she opened the door , her heart skipped a beat. Because outside the door Zydus was standing in a position , like he was going to knock.
"Interesting." He said with a smirk , looking at her stunned face. "Are you that eager to welcome me." He continued.
"It's not like that, I was just ….. just wanted some water.. so I was going downstairs." Flustered Lalith lied to hide the embarrassment.
Titling his head, Zydus looked behind her into room. "Really? But why do I see water beside bed and a glass half filled with water on the table near the couch?" He asked then looked into her eyes.
Lalith who was always proud of her brilliance, now utterly disappointed by herself. Looking down she didn't know what to say to make her look excuse liable.
"Do you perhaps wanted warm water?" Zydus who was well aware of her thoughts suddenly said to give her a way out of the awkward situation that he , himself had created.
" yes? Yes …. Yes warm water. I wanted to drink warm water." She replied with bright eyes, now that she was in better situation relaxed a bit .
"So?" Raising his brows he said, when Lalith was still standing at the door without moving. Not standing the hint Lalith asked;
"So?" Unaware of her silliness in front of him, she said.
"Are we...going to…..stand here for whole night." He said with little gaps in between the sentence . Making her stepped aside hastily. A faint redness appeared on her face thinking of her actions, more like teasing.
Chuckling at her, Zydus stepped in to the room. Lalith, still thinking of her actions. Suddenly realised something and nervously looked up in the direction of Zydus. Finding his near the bed, her heart who was beating fast , skipped a beat.
"Close the door." Came a stern voice that give Lalith a push to the reality. Zydus without turning his head continued; "didn't wear the dress." Then turned for the reply form her side.
He was asking about the dress that was prepared for Lalith and left in the bathroom. Lalith after closing the door and slowly making her way inside halted her steps in front of him before replying;
"Too short and not appropriate." Still looking down because she didn't have the courage to look at him. It's not too short but thinking of wedding night, she decided not to wear it. So that he doesn't think that she is eager to have him.
"Not appropriate?" A sudden temperature dropped. "Let me see if it's appropriate or not?" He was not going to let her have a way this time.
Hearing his tune that says no arguing, she cursed in her heart giving up on excuses before nodding and taking steps to the bathroom.
After changing into the white shiffon dress that was prepared for her she didn't looked at the mirror because she was still thinking of excuses she would be making to avoid this night.
With his phone in hand Zydus was sitting on the bed waiting for her turned his head after hearing the click of bathroom door .While walking outside, she didn't see the stiffened Zydus looking at her without blinking.
