Letting her got of the car, Zydus took her palm in his before walking to the villa in front.
Surprised by the huge villa, Lalith stared at it carefully while following him.
"Mr Zydus, how is this villa? It's more like a palace. And you please slow down. I want to look at it clearly." Lalith said while observing.
"This is yours. You can see it inside out always." He said without turning her head. "For now you have to get ready for the wedding night."
Lalith who was busy observing stiffened, that change when felt by Zydus looked somewhat different in his eyes. He halted his steps and turned to look for any reluctance in her eyes;
"No?" Zydus's cold , emotionless voice fell into her ears.
"Yes? I mean NO, I …. I was just thinking that….that , yeah that can you lend me your charger? My phone is out ….out of battery." Lalith who was a little fearful of his eyes stuttered to answer.
"Sure." He replied gesturing to the door where he halted his steps "THIS is my room. All of the things you need is there. You can get ready here."
"Where are you going ?" She grabbed his arms to stop him. "Isn't THIS your room?"
Looking at her fingers that are holding his arm, then looking up to see her ; " I was going to change in the guest room. BUT if you are that eager, I can do change with you in the same room." Closing the distance between them he whispered in her ears.
Startled Lalith stepped back , maintaining some distance then turning to the door. "You… No, Its okay you can go ahead ." Lalith opened the room door and without looking at him, replied before closing the door.
Zydus looked at the close door smiling for awhile. Before making his way to the guest room. After taking the shower, he came out of the room in grey casuals.
Reaching at the study, he turned to look at the closed door in opposite direction.
"Sir!" Opening the door Luthur called Zydus from inside the study.
"Hmmm." He turned to acknowledge then got inside, following him Luthur also went in before closing the door.
"Sir, I have investigated but found nothing. Only that they were searching for someone but , who and why? no news." Secretary Luthur replied looking down.
Zydus who was sitting on the chair in the center of the room without any emotion in his face hummed. Silent filled the room. After few seconds secretary Luthur looked up, only to see the coldest face in the earth and shivered.
"I ...I will investigated thoroughly again Sir." Secretary Luthur stuttered. After a few words with Zydus he walked out of the room and closed the door behind.
Wiping sweat from his forehead he sighed in relief. Making his way outside of the villa he saw that a maid knocked on the door of his boss's room. Then hastily made his way out.
Lalith who had just taken the bath and now drying her hair, heard a knock. Asking who it was, she made her way to the door.
"Greetings Mrs Morgan!" A maid greeted her from outside of the door.
"That is new." She smirked before opening the door.
"Mrs Morgan, Sir instructed me to send the charger to you." She said while bowing down.
"Okay, you can just call me Lalith." Lalith took the charger then said politely to the maid. Because maid was looking like she was in her fifty's. Lalith was very kind to her. Beside the maid's eyes were filled with kindness and heartfulness.
"I will try Mrs Morgan." The maid smiled again; " I am Andra. Here, I am a caretaker, If you need anything you can call me anytime."
"Have a good night." Andra said and left after Lalith acknowledged her.
Lalith closed the door and looked at the decorations of the room. When she first entered the room , she was shocked to see the red and white wedding decorations. Thinking of ways with she can avoid Zydus tonight.
Not finding any she decided to shower first. And now here she is, all nervous and frustrated.
She looked at the charger in her hands and her mind got distracted on the situation happened before. Hurriedly she plugged the charger and waited for two minutes. Then switching on her phone she first made a call.
"Madam, is that you?" A man's voice sounded from the phone.
" It's me!" She replied coldly. Her voice and aura suddenly changed making the man on the phone shivered.
The current Lalith was nowhere similar to the Lalith, everyone knew. If Zydus see this Lalith, he would surely be tempted. The ruthlessness and coldness in her eyes can be matched with Zydus's.
"Where is James?"
"Lalith don't be mad he was reprimanding his mistake. And have some water before saying anything." The man was well aware with the condition of Lalith, and also news about the things that happened today would ruin her plan.
Lalith's took a deep breath before looking sideways to find water. Water was placed beside the bed and she was sitting on the couch far away from the bed.
Looking at the uncharged phone then at the water she went to get some water before instructing to the man to wait for her.
Coming back to the couch she put the phone on speaker and hummed before taking a sip.
"Great, it's actually my fault too. I couldn't find your location today for five hours. So….." The man said in a regretting tone.
"The gun?" She asked after few seconds when the man stopped talking.
"It was urgent and we were going to deliver it tonight. At that time that was best smallest weapon we could find and I agreed with James to use it." The man's voice got too low at the end of the sentence.
"Adam.... I understand. Don't make any mistake again." Lalith who was finally calming down replied.
"So, you okay? And where were you today? Even your location tracker wasn't working." The man finally asked with an eager voice.
"I…." Lalith parted her lips to really but stopped seeing the man casually sitting on the bed of the room.
She was shocked and turned to look at door. Seeing that it was closed , her mind went blanked and she looked again at the man with an emotionless face.
"Surprised? Shocked?" The man smirked seeing the shocked expression in her face.
"I told you I would find you ." Continued the man wearing all white.
" I will call you Adam, have something to do." Lalith said to the man on the call before disconnecting it.
