The door clicked shut behind Arisa.
Yuuki was frozen.
Minami stood by the wall, arms crossed, unreadable.
"She didn't know I was here," she said. "That wasn't a setup."
"I know."
"She looked surprised. You didn't."
Yuuki didn't respond.
Minami took a breath. "It's her, isn't it?"
Still… no answer.
She smiled — but it was the saddest version of it. "That's the third time you've stayed silent when it mattered most."
Yuuki's fists clenched. "I never wanted to hurt you."
"You didn't hurt me, Yuuki. Not back then."
She stepped closer.
"But now? Every second you hesitate, I bleed a little more."
His throat tightened.
Minami looked him in the eye. "I'll ask one last time. Right here. Right now. If you say my name, I'll stay. I'll try again. I'll fight."
Silence.
"...But if you don't…"
She stepped back.
"I'll walk away first. So you don't have to."
Yuuki looked down. "Minami…"
A pause.
A breath.
"I'm sorry."
That was all she needed.
Minami nodded. No tears. No drama.
Just quiet acceptance.
A goodbye that didn't need words.
She opened the door—
And outside, Arisa stood, coffee still in hand, eyes wide.
Minami smiled at her. "He's yours now."
Then walked away, without looking back.
