Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: What the Eclipse Syndicate is made of! (final part)

The three return to the real world and witness a horrific event transpire before them. Not one, not two, but three fracture beasts lay havoc upon the world, as a result of the Twilight agents' hateful souls persisting to die. Kai: "oh come on... For goodness sake!" Lysander: "looks like we've got our work cut out for us." The giant 10 metre beasts tear villages and towns apart, murder and devour young children and women. The three Eclipsers dash through the forest, dodging the fracture beasts' cursed soul remnants. Kai: "Man this is such a mess! Can't those dudes just die!" Rhea strikes down a cursed soul remnant with her blade before a young woman clings to Kai's arm begging for salvation, woman: "please let me come with you, my town has been ravaged by those remnants and whoever remained was poisoned by them." Kai looks sceptical, Kai: "what's your name miss?" Woman: my name is Fumiko Yuka. I am a healer but I can hold my own in a fair fight." Rhea: "Come along Fumiko, we need more hands to deal with the fracture beasts anyway." The three introduced themselves to Fumiko. Kai: "welcome to the team, I guess" the all make their way to a high vantage point. Fumiko is heart broken at the scene of her pillaged home. This sight only makes Kai and Lysander more determined to eradicate the beasts. Kai: "let's do this" Kai activates his raw Aether but just as they are about to move toward the scene, the sky tears open as a lean 6 foot figure steps out. He looks down disapprovingly at the beasts, ???: "The last time I checked, my order was for you to kill Lysander! Not tear up a so many villages and towns!" They all tremble at the sound of his thunderous voice. Lysander goes completely stiff, Lysander: "It's him! 4th of the world 5, Leader of the Twilight order. Fen." Fen raises his arm and a tiny flare forms. Fen: "what a way to waste so much money and resources." He throws the tiny ball of energy at the three beasts, which obliterates the giant fracture beasts as well as their cursed soul remnants. Fen's facial expression is cold but wrathful. He turns his gaze toward the amazed and awestruck group. Fen: "watch yourselves boys and girls!" as he levitates back into the parted sky why shuts after his departure. Rhea: "today has been way too eventful for me. I'm gonna go sit down." Fumiko: "me too" Lysander: "me three" everyone else departs except Kai who's staring at the point in the sky where it was parted a few seconds ago. Kai: "who exactly was that guy?! Wow, he really is apart of the world 5." Kai smirks, Kai: "alright Fen, I'll kill Zerath and join you in the world 5! Soon!"
