A soldiers was rushing in a lord mansion. The soldier face is covered in fear, he don't know what to do.
He was rushing towards the hall where khali reside on. He was in panic, his heart was beating fast. He knows that he is going to die after delivering the news.
That's right, this monster is the one who escaped Arthur's army and came here to inform khali, the city lord about this.
He rushed in the hall and kneeled on all four in front of the throne and said in fear and panic.
"M.. my lo...lord, it's.... that human lord, he's a monster! We ambushed him, but he fought back with such ferocity... Even co.. Commander Kazu fell, and our men... they're all gone... My lord, we can't let him catch up to you, my lord, you have to get out of here, now..."
Before he can finish his sentence, an immense pressure covered his body that he can't even speak or move.
Fear shrouded his heart, he knows that no one can save him now.
Then a anger voice sounded in the hall, full of rage.
"Are you saying, a human lord that has been in this world for 3-4 days, killed my platinum rank commender."
Kazu was so angry that with a snap of his finger, the soldier head exploded. Within a second, the soldier died.
Khali did not want to believe that his platinum rank commender died in the hand of a newbie lord, Killing a platinum rank commender is not a small achivement, especially when the one who killed his was just a newbie lord.
""I'll slaughter that human lord, I'll rip him apart with my own hands! If what the soldier said is true, then I'll make him pay for every single life lost, for every drop of blood spilled... He'll beg for mercy, but I'll show him none! Prepare the armies, mobilize the guards, we're going to hunt him down and annihilate him!"
Khali said in a rage, but then a calm voice came, the one who spoke now is a minister in the city. He was also a goblin but he doesn't look strong, he looks like he has some wisdom. His name was kone
"My lord, I implore you, let us not act rashly. We are already beset on all sides by the kobold menace, and our forces are stretched thin. If news of Commander Kazu's demise were to reach their ears, it would only embolden them to strike at our weakened state. We must prioritize our defense and bide our time, lest we invite a calamity upon ourselves. Let us not sacrifice prudence for passion, my lord."
"Then do you want me to just ignore the fact that the newbie human lord killed my commander." Khali said in a rage. His anger is making him only think about revenge.
"My lord, I beg of you, let us not forget the gravity of our situation. We have suffered a grievous loss with Commander Kazu's fall, and our remaining commander is the last bastion of our strength. To act rashly now would be to court disaster. Our priority must be to secure our defenses against the kobolds and their lord, who would relish any sign of weakness. We cannot afford to lose another commander, lest we invite annihilation. Let us focus on the threats that loom before us, and temper our desire for vengeance with the wisdom of caution."
By the conversation between them, one can understand that there is another city ruled by kobolds, and goblins and kobolds are currently at war. If the the information about kazu death were found out by kobolds then goblins will be doomed.
By now, khali has calmed down.
"Ok i will not seek revenge with that human lord, but we can't let that human lord grow. He will become a powerful enemy that even we cannot defeat, if we don't stop him now."
Khali said with hatred and coldness. He knows that if he leaves the human lord to grow then no one can stop him in the future.
"My lord, I understand your concern. Indeed, it would be unwise to allow a talented adversary like that human lord to flourish unchecked. However, perhaps instead of direct confrontation, we might consider more... strategic measures. We could undermine his influence, or subtly manipulate events to limit his growth. A patient and calculated approach may prove more effective in the long run, rather than risking another costly confrontation. Let us make our moves accordingly."
"How many town and large monster gathering areas lies around his territory, within 20 kilometres of areas l."
"My lord there are currently 1 town and 5 large monster gathering areas, if we less one that has been destroyed by that human lord." One of the minister said. He was incharge of those things so he knows exactly.
"Issue a directive to the town vice commander: establish alliances with the five large monster gathering areas within the 20 kilometres of radius, and coordinate a joint assault on the human lord's territory. Our main goal is to kill the human lord or stop his growth by continuously assaulting him whenever he came out of his territory. Do not let that human lord rest for even a second. He will have to be in constant fear."
Kazu said coldly. Hatred can be seen in his eyes.
"That human lord can defeat 30000 soldiers, but how can he defeat 70000+ soldiers."
