I just returned from a royal duty outside the country N walls. I've been able to conquer the intruders from the Eastern rejoin, these intruders are not just intruderuding but claiming the farm lands of the commoners. There have been series of repeated events but these has to stop, to prevent future war.
I intend to speak with my father the king before going to my chambers but discovered he was in the throne room with the council. My presence was made known by the enuch of which the king raised his staff, which is made of pure gold. This staff has been from generation to the other, it has been since the N kingdom was born.
" Welcome back prince Damian Arthur Jn. Bring out the fresh win for the prince for his victory, lets all merry" the king said after I've put him in the know of how everything is settled. When the merriment was half way gone I took permission to retire.
I head to my chambers but decided to pay someone a surprise visit but instead I was the one who got the surprise. " What the hell is going on here" my voice roared.
" If it's not the prince Arthur Jn then it's...." he was saying
"Guards!!
"Yes my Prince"
" Throw this fool out of my sight and never to be seen inside the Imperial palace". I ordered and the two guards took action but the idiot don't know when to stop
" You can't stop me from getting into the Imperial palace because am royal" he said but I will do him the honor of bursting his bubble.
" You're no royal, your grandmother was the adopted sister of the late king who's son is now on the throne, king Damian Arthur!" I told him the secret and he became pale. I didn't bother with him but looked at the person who has now buried her face on her knees then left with out a word.
I was pissed off but didn't let it eat me up because I know her better than anyone else in the palace.
In the evening there was a silent knock on my door, I knew who it was and knew she would come, but I don't want to see her. She got in without permission.
" Who let you in" I questioned but her head was bowed
" Stop the act and go out" I told her but she knelt down
" Have you lost yourself respect as well as your dignity" I questioned her
" Am sorry, never intended for it to happen please" she said
" Really huh, I loved you and you knew it. We had plans and about getting married in a month, but this?. I want it low, just leave and don't bother me anymore and for your own good not a word of it to the king or anyone else, Get out". Can't believe I've lost her, I've always loved her since she came to the kingdom with her sisters. I didn't get married to other dates my father got me all because I was waiting for her, she's five years older than my sister Princess Annabelle Damian Arthur. But between us am just five years older than her, which I think it's normal.
Days past by in a blink, though I was dying emotionally but I never allowed it affect my duties. Not having her around was killing and the is she has returned to her kingdom, the war which has lasted for a decade and few months has come to an end some years back but she and her sister stayed back even when most of the refugee has returned.
The arrival of the king brought me out from my thoughts, I got into same car as him and the chauffeur drove off with other entourage. If I was going alone I would go by flight but with the great king Damian Arthur, I don't see that happening. In his words ' traveling through air won't let one enjoy the beautiful scenery of nature'. Well it's just a three hours journey so I can manage.
I actually did love the scenes unfolding through the journey, even though the war caused a lot of damage which the people are building up into a modern nation. The fountains and water fall with the flying around it was such a beauty as well as the blue water part, which my father decided to visit on the way, it was covered with different water flowers and you can see the water creatures moving freely, beside this water part are trees on both sides giving it an ambiance of comfort to the soul.
When we arrived, the king and it household came to welcome us but I was surprised to see Amber and Star who are sisters to...where is she? I asked myself, then different thought came to mind.
All through the royal birthday celebration my thoughts was divided. I got a chance to speak with Star, the pampered one but we'll behaved.
" Where is your sister, I've not seen her around" I asked
" Sorry prince Arthur Jn but I need to join in for the dance" and that was it.
I took a walk outside the garden to get some fresh air. Late into the night I retired to the chambers prepared for me. I tossed on the bed not getting any sleep, then I went to the balcony but when I turned to my right I saw her looking up at the Stars. I got my phone to record it briefly then kept it but I didn't expect her reaction when she saw me.
At first she was surprised but covered it up almost immediately before she bowed lightly then got back inside. I was joyed to see her again but the bow and look she gave me was devoid of emotion.
" Ha, shame on me for driving her away" I murmured then got back in.
I slept off almost immediately I laid down and I had a pleasant dream.
