Previously: Kael battled both Hook and Den, proving himself stronger than both. Meanwhile, Munfa struggled with doubts—was this Kael really his old friend? He needed answers.
---
Munfa sat by the campfire, lost in thought.
He stared into the flames.
"This man can't be my friend Kael…"
Kael had died years ago.
And yet—this Kael fights both Light and Dark.
"I need to know the truth."
---
The next day, Argos City was busy rebuilding.
Civilians repaired homes, worked on farms, and tried to rebuild their lives after the battles.
Munfa arrived to check on their progress.
Then—he felt it.
A strange, powerful wind.
He turned—
A mini tornado formed in the distance.
A masked warrior walked out from the storm.
Munfa's instincts screamed.
He reached for his wrist blades.
"Everyone, take cover!" he ordered.
The civilians ran for safety.
Munfa stepped forward.
"Who are you?! Why are you here?!"
The masked man remained silent.
Then—he attacked.
---
Kael rushed forward, his katana flashing.
Munfa barely dodged.
"He's fast!"
Kael swung again—relentless, precise, deadly.
Munfa blocked with his wrist blades but struggled to keep up.
He jumped back, breathing hard.
"I can't match his speed…"
Fire ignited on Munfa's blades.
He charged, swinging with burning strikes.
Kael dodged them all.
Then—counterattack!
Kael's kick sent Munfa flying.
Munfa gritted his teeth.
"Damn… he's strong!"
But he refused to give up.
His flames burned hotter as he attacked again.
Their weapons clashed—katana vs. blade.
Kael backed off slightly.
Munfa saw an opening.
He threw one of his blades!
Kael dodged—but the fire on the blade burned his mask.
The mask fell off.
Munfa's eyes widened in shock.
"Kael?!"
Kael said nothing.
Munfa's voice shook. "How are you still alive?"
Kael didn't answer.
He attacked again.
Munfa fought back, but he couldn't handle Kael's power.
Blood dripped from his mouth.
"Don't do this, Kael… you're not like this."
Kael's cold eyes met his.
"I'm no longer your friend.
I am the one who will destroy both Light and Dark!"
Munfa clenched his fist.
"Then I'll stop you!"
He landed a powerful kick, sending Kael flying—
But Kael spun in the air, landing softly with his katana dug into the ground.
"Tch…"
Then—Kael moved.
Faster than before.
Before Munfa could react—
A blade stabbed into his belly.
Blood gushed out.
Munfa gasped, falling back against a rock.
His vision blurred.
Kael walked toward him, his sword dripping with blood.
Munfa could barely move.
Is this how I die…?
