Chapter 6 - Business Plan And Finished With the Bugs

Aniket perked up at that. "This bug bounty, can you go into more details about that?"

Aniket is at his home now as he looks around a used apartment. 'After building a business, I will need to find a place better than this.' He thought as he walked to his desk, which was more than 3 steps from the walk. He powered on his computer, pulled a mask out of his backpack, and set it near the table.

[Why did you buy the mask?]

"To ensure that my face doesn't show up, like it or not, those giants and I are going to be locked in competition shortly. I am going to step into a cave full of snakes pretty soon, and I would not like to be in the center of all that attention." Aniket explained.

[Are you planning to put your company in another's hands?]

"Hell no, like hell I would. I would just make someone else a C.E.O., but they will be under my control as I will hold all the shares in the company and reside as the chairman," Aniket said. "This is the reason why I am so against selling my shares. I need centralized control of the company as I am not putting my position at risk."

[Understood, since that is your plan. May I suggest something before you go hunting?]

"No need to ask in the future, unless I told you to be quiet," Aniket said, as he allowed Uni to speak its mind, most likely code.

[I believe it is better if we code a security firewall for your computer first; it will prevent you from getting hacked and possibly compromise your identity.]

"Good idea," Aniket said after a thought. He sat and opened the terminal as he followed the code Uni wrote for him. She modified a simple defense from a level 3 empire that specializes in infiltration and data collection to fit the current times; thus, the simple design, which should be at max taking 10 lines of code, turned into an entire hour of coding.

Aniket wiped the imaginary sweat off his forehead and said, "This computer now is the most unhackable computer on earth right now."

[Not exactly, sir]

Aniket narrowed his brows in confusion. "Why do you say that?"

[The majority of its defense is activated on sight, so the computer must detect the hacker first before it can deploy its defense system.]

"Why did you make it like that?" Aniket asked;, knew that there is a good reason as to why uni would do that.

[Well, to be honest, sir. The current computer system in this world is a load of junk that has been set on fire. Windows, macOS, and maybe Linux are the only companies that are in the markets, essentially an oligopoly with a very, very painful development rate.]

"Huh? That news for me, I never knew or thought about the Os market much." Aniket said as a grin formed on his face. "I smell opportunity."

[ Are you planning to go into the Os market?]

"Yes, but not now. The opportunity I smell is finding bugs." Aniket said as he then began his crusade against the digital world. His fingers moved across the keyboard with h extreme precision that even he didn't know he was capable of. 'It seems Uni is helping me enhance my body but also correct the distance.' Aniket thought as he looked at the screen to see code filling the terminal; he then ran it to open a system space.

"What is this?" Aniket asked

[This is your Operating system, inside an operating system.]

"Why is this for?" Aniket asked, ignorant of what operating systems have to do with hacking.

[Operating systems are important in ethical hacking or hacking in general as they provide specialized tools and resources for hacking, on top of a Kernel that you need.]

"I see." Aniket absorbed the knowledge he gained.

[We can start anytime you want, sir.]

"Let the hunt begin," Aniket said, trying to sound cool but cringing at it. "Not a word."

[...]

Aniket opened all the famous apps and tech he could think of, from Meta to Amazon. Everything was his goal when finally, after a thousand of command majority of which stayed the same, he compiled a book-long report on bugs for each company. It has nearly 568 bugs, with 114 bugs being Critical bugs and 345 being Major bugs. The rest were either normal or trivial, but it never hurts to have additional cash.

'Finally, after writing so much code, I can contact the companies,' Aniket thought, but Uni poured cold water on him when she said

[No, we need to set up our financial accounts first.]

"Huh? Why do we need to do that?" Aniket asked, confused.

[Drawing huge amounts of cash like this could trouble our way on top of all the problems with the bank processing this much amount of money may put our accounts on the government radar.]

'This is a problem.' Aniket caught on to what Uni was suggesting. "What do you suggest?" He asked

[ Didn't take you for the dark kind?]

"What? Do you think I am some patriotic guy with a light and good disposition? I am not that innocent, although I have never caused harm directly. I have put people under manipulation and done multiple other things to survive and get to the place I am in." Aniket said with a chuckle. When he was done, he got back to business, "So, do you have any solution?"

[Make a bank]

There was a pin drop silence when Aniket heard this. "Are you broken? Is your code malfunctioning or something?"

[ I am working at optimal condition under this circumstance, sir]

"Then why are you speacking about shit like that?" Aniket said. With a sigh, he calmed himself and said, "That is a no go; there is not enough capital, and banks are monitored pretty closely on top of having no power. Why don't I just say that I hate the government and am trying to take over the world? At least I will have a better chance at making a cult than trying to make a bank."
