BLACK SQUAD — EPISODE 111
Title: Voices in the Walls
Genre: Psychological Crime Thriller
Format: Standalone
---
OPENING SEQUENCE:
The episode opens on a rainy evening in Mumbai. The camera pans to a dilapidated, century-old government building marked for demolition, but due to legal hurdles, it remains abandoned. The locals avoid it, claiming strange voices echo through its empty halls at night.
A young woman, Priya Bendre, a journalism student, is seen entering the building with her phone flashlight. She's investigating an urban legend for a college documentary. As she walks, eerie whispers surround her.
Priya (whispering to herself):
"It's just old pipes… just the wind."
But the whispers grow louder, calling her name, until she suddenly screams — and the screen cuts to black.
---
BLACK SQUAD HEADQUARTERS – NEXT MORNING
ACP Sulaiman Qazi receives a call from the local police station reporting Priya's disappearance. Her last known location was the abandoned building.
Qazi:
"We've had too many cases left unsolved around that place… time to shut this down. Get the team."
The squad assembles: Imran Wani, Arjun Rathore, Zoya Khan, Sub-Inspector Shreya, and Inspector Sachin. Joining them is Dr. R.P. Gupta, the new forensic expert, and a personal friend of Qazi.
Qazi:
"No nonsense this time. It's not superstition — it's a crime scene."
---
INVESTIGATION BEGINS
The squad arrives at the decrepit building. Inside, damp walls, crumbling ceilings, and faded murals of colonial-era Mumbai set a sinister backdrop. The team splits up to cover each floor.
Zoya and Shreya discover signs of forced entry and old surveillance equipment wired into the walls.
Zoya:
"Who the hell runs wires through crumbling walls in an abandoned building?"
Imran and Sachin locate a hidden chamber in the basement — filled with outdated police files, old photographs, and audio cassettes. One cassette, labeled "Case 12/2002," catches Imran's eye.
Imran (to himself):
"Why does that number… feel familiar?"
---
FLASHBACK — 2002
The scene cuts to a younger Sulaiman Qazi leading a raid in the same building. They arrest a cop named Inspector Rajat Mishra, who was found guilty of illegal surveillance, blackmail, and psychological torture of suspects. Mishra vowed revenge before being dismissed and disappearing.
---
BACK TO PRESENT
Dr. R.P. Gupta analyzes the cassette — it contains distorted recordings of people screaming, followed by Mishra's voice repeating:
"The walls remember… and so will you, Qazi."
Qazi's face hardens.
"He's back."
---
ESCALATION
That night, Arjun and Zoya hear whispers while sweeping the second floor. They follow the voice to a dead end, but suddenly, the wall behind them opens — a secret passage. Arjun is pulled inside by an unseen force.
Zoya screams, raising the alarm.
The squad scrambles. Imran insists on going in alone, confronting his own fears of tight, dark spaces. Inside, the passage is wired with old speakers, rigged to play Mishra's voice and manipulated screams on loop.
Imran:
"Coward's tricks. Face me, Mishra!"
---
THE FINAL CONFRONTATION
In a hidden surveillance room, Rajat Mishra, now aged and deranged, watches the squad via old monitors. He addresses Qazi over an intercom.
Mishra:
"You took everything from me. You humiliated me… now your squad will die in these walls."
A bomb timer starts — 10 minutes.
Qazi:
"You're a relic of your own hatred, Rajat. This ends now."
The squad works fast — Dr. R.P. Gupta locates the bomb's position using old architectural plans. Imran, driven by adrenaline, tackles Mishra, locking him in the surveillance room.
Arjun, bruised but alive, disables the bomb with Sachin's assistance at the last second.
---
AFTERMATH
Mishra is arrested, broken mentally, muttering about the walls speaking to him. The squad secures the building.
Qazi (to his team):
"Some ghosts wear uniforms. But justice wears ours."
The episode ends with Priya Bendre rescued, traumatized but alive, and the government finally ordering the building's demolition.
Zoya (softly to Arjun):
"How many more of these walls hide the monsters we let go?"
Arjun:
"As long as we wear this badge — we find them."
---
CLOSING SCENE:
The Black Squad stands outside as the first hammer strikes the building, a symbolic end to a two-decade-old nightmare.
Final line by Qazi (voice-over):
"Evil hides in shadows… but it leaves footprints. And we… we follow them."
BLACKOUT.
