Prince Sullivan was sitting on his throne. His father sitting in the biggest throne by him. His mother sitting on the other side as he watched people dance and sway with the ballroom music. It was boring but he had to be there because his father made him. After all he needed a wife very soon now that he was turning 18 in 4 months. Which seems like a long time but isn't when your getting pressured and you don't want to marry, like him. But nobody understood anything or Sullivan at all.
Especially his father but that wasn't the reason why Sullivan hated his father so much. You'd have to be Sullivan to understand. Everyone thinks him and his parents are the most perfect family when in fact isn't the case at all.
But who'd listen?. Nobody. Sullivan didn't even wanna be here. He mostly stayed in his study room doing paperwork and filing stuff for the kingdom and doing duties. Other than that he had sword training or just walked aimlessly around the massive hallways. He barely got a break, and this was some of the things he hated, balls and marriage.
He didn't want a wife. It was painfully clear but did anyone listen? Of course not, because he had to follow rules and not utter a single word about his opinion.
