Seeing Bibi Dong's serious expression, Ye Wen felt a slight chill. Fortunately, he only knew so much; otherwise, he feared Bibi Dong might explode in anger.

Finally, Ye Wen recounted the plan he had arranged with the Azure Bull Python to Bibi Dong.

He explained that this time, Pope Bibi Dong of the Spirit Hall would personally visit the Great Star Dou Forest and form a pact with its ruler, the 100,000-year Azure Bull Python. Humans could hunt spirit beasts, but they were forbidden from wanton slaughter. Otherwise, the next beast tide from the Great Star Dou Forest wouldn't retreat so easily.

He also emphasized the main culprit behind this disaster—the Hao Tian Douluo, Tang Hao.

However, since Tang Hao had long been a dominant figure on the Douluo Continent, Ye Wen decided to add more details. He informed Bibi Dong about Tang Hao's disability and his drop in cultivation to the level of a Title Douluo. This should intensify the hatred of the continent's powerful figures toward Tang Hao.

As for whether this would be enough to kill Tang Hao, Ye Wen found it unrealistic.

Even according to the original storyline, losing a limb under the condition of possessing full soul bones would cause Tang Hao's cultivation to drop by ten levels. However, with his explosive "ring-shattering" technique, Tang Hao's full power still rivaled that of a top-tier 90-level Assault System Title Douluo.

After some thought, Ye Wen felt this still wasn't sufficient.

Tang Hao's value needed to be fully exploited.

Thus, Ye Wen added another piece of information for Bibi Dong: Tang Hao possessed five soul bones.

Bibi Dong looked at Ye Wen in surprise.

"I didn't expect someone like you, who always acts like an old scholar, to be so ruthless when plotting against someone."

Ye Wen chuckled indifferently. When it came to enemies, he believed ruthlessness was never excessive.

If not for the fear of tangling with the Asura God through Tang Hao, Ye Wen would have simply slapped him to death long ago.

Bibi Dong seemed to understand Ye Wen's thoughts and exchanged a knowing smile with him.

A sharp drop in cultivation combined with the allure of five Blood River treasures—whether it was the royal families of the two empires or the hidden hermit experts, none would likely be able to resist.

When it came to enemies, Bibi Dong was equally merciless. With a mischievous grin, she suggested,

"Since we're going all out, let's also leak intelligence about the Hao Tian Sect. That'll embolden these hidden experts even more.

Hmm~

Let's also add two rewards: the Spirit Hall will offer one soul bone and an Elder Token. I'm sure this will motivate those hidden experts even further."

Ye Wen looked at Bibi Dong with slight admiration. Not bad at all.

The two then burst into hearty laughter, leaving the guards outside puzzled. Was there someone else inside besides the Pope?

With such stacked bounties, Ye Wen grew curious—would Tang Hao even survive until the final chapter?

If Tang San ascended to godhood, he might be able to resurrect Tang Hao, but so what? A skeleton in a tomb, nothing more.

Next, Bibi Dong and Ye Wen began chatting happily. After all, there were few people Bibi Dong could converse with at her current position.

During their conversation, Bibi Dong mentioned her disciple, Hu Liena, whose martial soul was an innate soul power level nine Charming Fox—a top-tier spiritual system martial soul with strong hallucinatory abilities.

In the original storyline, Hu Liena would face the overpowered Seven Treasures Glazed Pagoda Sect in this generation and suffer defeat.

Uh… now it seemed things hadn't improved much for her—she'd already been crushed by Ye Wen's children.

Ye Wen felt indifferent toward this love-struck girl. However, the current Bibi Dong wouldn't send her to the City of Slaughter or secretly aid the enemy due to misguided loyalty.

Ye Wen chuckled in relief. This meant the original "Three Beauties of the Spirit Hall" had been completely redeemed… right?

Moreover, because of Ye Wen's plans, Bibi Dong hadn't prematurely appointed Hu Liena as the Holy Maiden as she did in the original storyline. Instead, she served as Bibi Dong's personal disciple, assisting and learning beside her.

After their laughter subsided, Ye Wen grew curious. Why had Bibi Dong brought up Hu Liena?

"Is there something wrong with your disciple?" Ye Wen asked.

Bibi Dong hesitated, stammering awkwardly, which caused Ye Wen's mind to drift back to the scenes of their past exchanges in Spirit City.

Finally, Bibi Dong said, "I hope you can grant this child a strand of immortal herb essence. Her talent is good, but as my disciple, I feel she's still too weak."

So that's what this was about. Ye Wen couldn't help but chuckle.

"Our relationship doesn't require such formalities. Giving your disciple a strand of immortal herb essence is no big deal. Why act so shy about it?"

However, Ye Wen failed to notice the deep, intense emotion brewing beneath Bibi Dong's joy as she accepted the immortal herb essence.

Unbeknownst to them, night fell gradually. Bibi Dong invited Ye Wen to share dinner.

The guards outside weren't sure when Ye Wen had entered. They were slightly surprised but reasoned that it was natural for someone of the Pope's caliber to have friends who could move undetected.

Rarely, Bibi Dong didn't have servants bring the food. Instead, she personally cooked.

Seeing the noble Bibi Dong, clad in an apron and bustling around the kitchen, left Ye Wen feeling even more confused.

What's going on? Has my self-control worsened after becoming a god? No, no—I'm a married man. I need to focus on cultivating my mindset when I return. Perhaps my rapid cultivation has destabilized my mental state.

Ye Wen adjusted his mindset internally while silently marveling.

Strength truly was everything. Size equated to beauty.

The meal wasn't extravagant—just simple home-cooked dishes—but both enjoyed it immensely.

After a satisfying feast, staying overnight in the presence of a single woman wasn't gentlemanly behavior. Ye Wen decided to take his leave.

After a brief farewell with Bibi Dong, Ye Wen turned to leave.

His mind was still preoccupied with how he would rebuild the City of Slaughter if it were destroyed. The God of Retribution's methods were far too lax and indulgent—

Just as Ye Wen was lost in pleasant reverie, a sharp pain pierced his chest.

Immediately afterward, his entire body went numb, and he felt his limbs losing strength.

Glancing down, he saw a sharp object protruding from his chest.

At this moment, Ye Wen's thoughts slowed considerably.

As the dagger was withdrawn, a soft, fragrant warmth enveloped him. Coming to his senses, Ye Wen realized he was now leaning against Bibi Dong's embrace.

Bibi Dong appeared unusually strange.

Her beautiful eyes shimmered with a rosy hue, and her normally pale cheeks flushed crimson.

Ye Wen tried to speak but found himself unable to make a sound. The only parts of his body he could still move were his eyeballs.

The unfamiliar sharp object was now in Bibi Dong's right hand—a short purple dagger, less than forearm-length, with intricate runes engraved on its blade.

Bibi Dong's pink tongue sensually licked the tip of the dagger.

"It's all your fault, you know~"
