I pulled Cairn away with me. He fought against my grip.
"We have to help them he screamed at me. "Can't you see what their are doing to our mothers how can you be okay with this!?"
"What exactly can you do?" I made him ask himself.
"What?" he asked me dumbfounded.
"I'm asking you what you think you can do?You'll just get yourself captured like the rest of them. You're too weak to save them. But so am I"
Cairn looked at me with a pained expression and bit his lip. He let out a frustrated sigh and just sobbed quietly.
"We have to get stronger so we can stop him and save them. But we have to retreat for now I told him.
I only partially meant what I said really I just wanted to keep him safe. However, I understood exactly how he felt.
