RIAN'S POV
I left the tent with Maya and began manoeuvring around the village, heading for the tent. We used the darkness of the night to mask ourself as we moved.
I silently prayed as we made our. I asked myself what I would do with the key once I got Maya back in? I didn't know where Cairn kept it. I guess I would have to worry about that later when Maya was safely back inside. As we neared the tent a sudden movement suddenly stopped us.
"What the fuck are you doing out of the tent?" A familiar deep voice asked me.
A shiver went down my spine. These were the last people I wanted to see right now.
Maya and I were grabbed by our shoulders. I looked up and saw Maxus furiously looking down at me. Maya was grabbed by Cairn. We had been caught. My face went white, and my blood went cold. Just when I thought we were about to reach the tent. Looks like we never stood a chance.
"How did you get her outside of the cage?" Maxus said as he gripped my arm.
