RIAN'S POV
My routine remained the same as I went into the second week of my stay in the Ibis pack village. Maya's leg was doing well. I was glad my skills were good. I had never stitched up anyone before I had only read about it from the castle documents and books. As I continued to see Maya I noticed she looked more and more depressed eat time. I was sure she was tired of being in the cage.
She would always hold me and apologize for what I had to go through for her sake. It hurt me to see her this way. I felt awful that she blamed herself for what was happening to me. I tried to keep a brave face and tell her I was alright and did not blame her at all. but she would cry.
I needed to get her out of this cage. I was working on how I was going to convince the brothers to let her out.
