Chapter 34 - MISSING YOU ALREADY, PART 1.

ORION.

As I stepped into the bustling airport in Paris, I was immediately enveloped by the vibrant atmosphere that pulsed through the terminal like a living entity.

The air was electric with a mix of excitement and the unmistakable hum of travelers from all corners of the globe, each with their own unique story and destination. The modern architecture of the terminal rose around me, its sleek lines and large glass windows allowing streams of natural light to flood the space, casting a warm glow over the bustling crowds.

I drank in the sights and sounds around me: the soft, melodic announcements echoing through the intercom, the faint rustle of luggage wheels rolling over the polished floors, and the chatter of diverse languages spoken by passengers hurrying to their gates.

A group of tourists eagerly snapped photos next to a large mural celebrating the city's iconic landmarks, their faces aglow with excitement. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted from a nearby café, where travelers gathered, sipping espressos and discussing their plans in hushed tones.

As I made my way toward the baggage claim area, I noticed a kaleidoscope of emotions on people's faces – some looked excited, their eyes shining with anticipation, while others appeared weary from their travels, their faces etched with fatigue. Families reunited with warm smiles and tender embraces, their joy infectious. I pulled out my phone and dialed the one number I had on speed dial, my heart skipping a beat as I waited for Harro to answer.

"Hey, baby!" Harro's cherry voice came through the phone the moment he picked up, and I couldn't help but chuckle, imagining the bright smile that must have spread across his face.

"Hey, you," I replied, smiling. "I just got off the plane." I heard Harro sigh in relief, the sound a gentle whisper in my ear.

"How was the flight? Are you okay?" he asked, his voice laced with concern, and I heard some shuffling from his end, as if he was moving to get more comfortable.

"I'm fine, and the flight was okay," I replied, trying to sound casual despite the pang of loneliness that had already begun to settle in. I heard Harro hum quietly on the other end of the line, a soothing sound that seemed to vibrate through every cell of my body.

"I miss you already," he whispered, his voice barely audible, but the emotion behind it loud and clear. My heart skipped a beat as I smiled sadly, feeling the same ache within me.

"I know," I replied, my voice a gentle echo of his. "Because I miss you too, so much." It was surreal, how much I missed him already, despite the fact that it had only been a couple of hours since we'd parted ways. I wondered how I'd survive the distance, but I pushed the thought aside, determined to brighten the mood.

"On the bright side," I said, injecting a note of optimism into my voice."Yeah?" Harro asked, his tone curious, and I smiled, knowing I'd gotten his attention.

"I'm heading to the hotel now," I told him, watching as the driver pulled out of the airport parking lot and merged into the bustling city traffic. "We'll have enough time to talk before I leave for dinner with Athena and her parents later in the evening." Harro hummed quietly again, and then the call switched to video, and his face appeared on the screen of my phone. I slipped on my AirPod, feeling a sense of intimacy wash over me as I gazed at his beautiful face.

"You look delicious," Harro said, his eyes roving over me with a hunger that made my pulse quicken. He licked his lips, and I chuckled, feeling a flutter in my chest.

"You're just saying that because..." I began, I wanted to say because he was horny, but then I remembered that I was in a car with a stranger, and Harro seemed to pick up on my hesitation. He smirked devilishly, winking at me, and I scowled at him playfully, making him burst out laughing.

We continued talking and soon enough I was at my destination, I sighed in relief as the driver pulled up in front of the hotel. I remained engrossed in my conversation with Harro, chatting with him as the driver efficiently handled my luggage and checked me in. I kept Athena updated on my arrival, even though I was certain her driver had already informed her. Once I'd settled into my luxurious hotel room, the driver bid me farewell, promising to return later that evening to escort me to dinner.

"Why would you place the phone so close to your face?" Harro whined, his voice tinged with playful exasperation, as I began to undress. I laughed, feeling a flutter in my chest. "I thought you liked my face," I teased, earning a mock glare from Harro.

"I love your face, but I love your body more," he replied, his voice dripping with cheeky innuendo, making me fake an "ouch" as he rolled his eyes.

"Now, move back, I want to see," he said, rubbing his hands together in anticipation, his eyes sparkling with mischief. I laughed, obliging him, and he smirked in satisfaction, his gaze roving over me with unbridled appreciation.

"You're absolutely impossible to deal with, you know that?" I asked, shaking my head with a smile, feeling my heart swell with affection for this infuriating, lovable man.

"Yes, I know that, and you still love me anyway," he replied, his voice laced with cheeky confidence, his eyes gleaming with a hunger that made my pulse quicken.

"So much vanity in one man," I teased, stepping into the shower, the warm water enveloping me like a soothing balm. Harro's laughter echoed through the phone, a melodious sound that wrapped around my heart, filling me with joy and longing. I closed my eyes, letting the sound wash over me, feeling connected to him despite the distance between us.

Harro stayed on the phone while I showered, his eyes following my every movement with an intensity that was impossible to ignore. I could tell he was savoring every moment by the way his eyes glinted with desire. I didn't have the heart to end the call; his presence was electrifying. And when I refused his request to touch myself as he watched, his lips formed a sultry pout and his bottom lip quivered in a way that was irresistibly enticing. Inevitably, I gave in to his demands.

I never imagined that having his undivided attention while I indulged in my own pleasure would ignite such a thrilling rush within me. The experience turned out to be incredibly sexy and surprisingly fun. I could see the desire radiating from him as he watched, and that only fueled my own arousal, driving me wild with longing. It was an exhilarating experience—one that I would definitely love to explore again.

Harro's face lit up with unbridled joy as I stepped out of the shower, wiping myself dry. "That was amazing, I'm already counting down the minutes until we can do it again," he said, his eyes sparkling with mischief. I chuckled, trying to maintain a nonchalant facade.

"That was a one-time thing," I told him, pretending to be uninterested.

Harro gasped dramatically, his lower lip jutting out in a comical pout. "Babe, don't be like that. I know you enjoyed every second of it," he said, winking at me with a knowing glint in his eye. I hid my face behind the towel, pretending to dry myself off, but Harro just laughed, seeing right through my ruse. Little did he know, I'd loved it more than I cared to admit.

"My answer is still the same," I said, attempting to sound firm, but Harro just laughed, a cheeky glint in his eye, and rolled his eyes, knowing that I'd eventually cave in to his whims.

We chatted for a while longer, but as the jet lag began to catch up with me, I decided to take a nap, letting the softness of the hotel bed envelop me. Before I knew it, I was jolted awake by the realization that it was almost time to leave for dinner.

I quickly got dressed, opting for a sleek suit that I knew would meet with Athena's parents' approval. They were sticklers for decorum, and I wanted to make a good impression as always. As I finished dressing, Harro called again, and we talked nonstop from the moment I left the hotel until I arrived at the restaurant. The sound of his voice was a comforting constant, a reminder of the love and connection that bridged the distance between us.

As I stepped out of the car and onto the sidewalk, I bid Harro a hasty goodbye, my voice low as I spoke into my AirPod.

"I'm here, we'll talk later. I love you." Harro's response was immediate, his voice warm and husky.

"I love you too, baby," he whispered, followed by a series of kissing sounds that made me smile. The line went dead, and I followed the waiter to our reserved table, feeling a sense of calm wash over me.
