Chapter 39 - HOME IS WHERE YOU ARE, PART 2.

ORION.

As the hours ticked by, the time of his flight drew near, and Orion's anticipation grew. The driver arrived, and he was whisked away to the airport, his eyes fixed on the clock as he mentally counted down the seconds until he could be reunited with Harro.

Each passing minute felt like an eternity, and Orion's restlessness grew. He was consumed by the thought of Harro's warm embrace, the way it made him feel whole and complete. Without it, he felt fragmented, like a puzzle missing its most crucial piece. His focus wandered, and his mind drifted back to Harro, his thoughts a jumbled mix of excitement and longing. He'd missed him so much to the point that it hurts.

The ride to the airport felt interminable, the minutes ticking by at a glacial pace. Orion's imagination ran wild, conjuring up images of Harro waiting for him in his penthouse still. He pictured Harro leaning against the kitchen countertop, a playful smirk dancing on his lips – the same smirk that never failed to drive Orion crazy with desire.

Orion's heart raced at the thought of being reunited with Harro, his senses heightened as he envisioned the warmth of Harro's touch, the taste of his lips, and the sound of his laughter. The distance between them felt like an unbearable weight, one that he couldn't wait to shed as he rushed back into Harro's arms.

Orion burst out of the car, his briefcase and luggage in hand, as he hastened towards the airport terminal. The driver's protests faded into the background as he quickened his pace, driven by an unrelenting urgency to reunite with Harro. Memories of their time together flooded his mind – every tender smile, every whispered promise, every stolen moment. These cherished recollections fueled his determination, and Orion realized, with crystalline clarity, just how much Harro meant to him.

Accolades, wealth, and material possessions, once the epicenter of his universe, now paled in comparison to the love he shared with Harro. He'd never wanted anything more in his life.

As he boarded the flight, Orion's excitement was obvious to whomever was paying attention. He couldn't sit still, his restlessness a testament to the all-consuming passion that burned within him. He even ignored the questioning gaze from the flight attendant.

When the plane finally touched down, Orion's heart soared. "I'm almost home, my love. Wait for me." he whispered, his voice trembling with anticipation. Adrenaline coursed through his veins as he navigated the terminal, his strides long and purposeful. With each step, he drew closer to the moment he craved – the moment he could finally envelop Harro in his arms, basking in the warmth of their love.

As Orion stepped out into the evening air, he was enveloped by a cool, refreshing breeze that carried the sweet scent of freedom. His eyes scanned the crowded parking area, searching for Lee, his bodyguard, but his gaze was swiftly hijacked by a familiar figure leaning against a sleek, black car, he'd recognized that figure anywhere. It was Harro, his silhouette was shrouded in shadows, but the soft glow of the streetlights dancing around him was like a beacon, drawing Orion in.

Their eyes met, and the world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, suspended in a sea of longing. Every challenge, every moment of doubt, was incinerated by the warm rush of Orion's heart, leaving only an all-consuming desire to be reunited with Harro.

Harro pushed off the car, his movements fluid and deliberate, as he closed the distance between them. His features were etched with a mixture of relief and desire, a potent combination that ignited a fire in Orion's soul. Before he knew it, they were wrapped in each other's arms, their fierce embrace a testament to the longing that had built between them. Time stood still as they held each other, the world around them fading into insignificance.

"Orion, I—" Harro began, but his words were lost in the fervent kiss that Orion bestowed upon him. Harro's eyes widened in surprisebat first, but he quickly succumbed to the passion, melting into the kiss as if it was the only thing that mattered. In that instant, the world around them dissolved, leaving only the two of them, suspended in a sea of desire.

The pressures of Orion's father, the expectations of society, all faded into the background as they lost themselves in the kiss. It was just them, their hearts beating as one, their love shining brighter than any obstacle.

"Let's head home," Orion whispered against Harro's lips, his voice husky with emotion. A wave of contentment washed over him, and he knew that he was exactly where he was meant to be. Harro nodded, still looking a little dazed from the kiss, but a soft smile played on his lips.

As they drove off into the city's twinkling lights, Harro's one hand entwined with Orion's and the other on the wheel as they occasionally smiled at each other, Orion felt a sense of liberation washing over him.

He counted each second, each moment spent with Harro, knowing that he would never take another day for granted ever again. Their love was worth fighting for and together, they were unstoppable, their love a force that could overcome any obstacle. Orion was done being afraid, done hiding Harro from the world. He was ready to love him with every fiber of his being, to cherish and adore him, and to create a future filled with laughter, joy, and passion.
