Chapter 134 - Chapter 133: The Vat Node

Yang Tao returned home from the Harry Potter world through a portal.

From this moment on, Zhang Wenjing's world was now in sync with his.

He took out his Silver Tree Wand and tried to sense its power. As expected, the magic inside had completely faded, and none of its skills could be used anymore.

"It's fine! I wouldn't be using it at home anyway!" he consoled himself.

Yang Tao was preparing to continue his exploration of the mysterious world of magic.

"Right! I can finally make the Vat Node! Finally, it's time!"

He grabbed the materials he needed and teleported to the four basic elemental nodes he had marked earlier.

Looking at the earth, wind, water, and fire nodes in front of him, he nodded in satisfaction.

He enclosed the nodes with glass, then placed a layer of wooden half-bricks on top, forming a jar-like structure.

Holding up his Silver Tree Wand, he tapped it.

"Come forth, Vat Node!"

The jar-shaped structure shrank instantly, transforming into an actual small vat, which dropped to the ground.

Yang Tao picked up the jar and looked at the node inside, smiling.

As long as he took the jar back and smashed it on the ground, the node inside would be released.

He glanced at his staff and saw that it only had 25 points of elemental energy left. Feeling frustrated, he thought, "Catching just one node costs 75 points of each element. That's too much! I have to recharge after every capture!"

Instead of looking for new nodes to replenish his magic, Yang Tao decided to teleport to the world of *Harry Potter*. He had realized it was much faster and more convenient than gathering energy from nodes.

As his staff absorbed the surrounding magic and refilled its energy, a thought struck him—whether he could cast spells or not didn't even matter anymore!

He suddenly came to a realization: "Why bother with nodes? If I run out of magic, I can just come here!"

Without the need to find nodes for magic, his progress in The Age of Mysticism sped up significantly.

His magic filled up quickly, and feeling satisfied, he returned to Minecraft. But instead of crafting a new staff, he chose his all-time favorite staff core.

The Portable Tunnel spell created a temporary passage in a 3×3×9 space, centered on the targeted block.

Although it only lasted for six seconds, that was more than enough. From now on, no obstacle could stop him.

Soon, Yang Tao obtained his first spell core. Excited, he began using it everywhere.

He ran through the tunnels the spell created, watching as they quickly closed behind him, turning back into solid walls. After playing around for a while, amazed by the magic, he finally stopped.

Then, he started crafting the remaining staff cores he could make.

...

Two days later.

Yang Tao stood in front of the Dark Ritual Obelisk, holding the Eye of Dark Arts in his hand.

After two days of work, he had finally crafted the Eye of Dark Arts. Now, he was ready to challenge the boss of The Age of Mysticism and unlock a new mod.

Staring at the obelisk before him, Yang Tao didn't hesitate. He placed all four Eyes of Dark Arts into position.

He had already defeated three bosses. Now, he just hoped this one would drop the Dark Construct he needed.

The giant crystal atop the obelisk activated, and below it, a circular portal slowly appeared—this was the gateway to the final boss.

As Yang Tao stepped closer, the portal pulled him in, transporting him to a mysterious structure—this was the Outer Realm Maze!

He didn't really want to be here. But for the sake of the new mod, he had no choice but to push forward.

Scanning his surroundings, he spotted monsters wandering nearby. Without hesitation, he pulled out his bow and began picking them off one by one, carefully dismantling the lightning traps scattered across the floor.

Soon, he reached a massive sealed door—the entrance to the final Dark Arts boss.

Staring at the door, Yang Tao suddenly wanted to turn back.

The entrance was right here, but the Rune Key Slab needed to open it usually spawned at the farthest possible point in the maze.

Clenching his teeth, he turned and sprinted toward the other side of the labyrinth.

After several encounters with the maze's monsters—fighting, dodging, and shooting arrows—he finally spotted the four Dark Arts Guardians protecting the Rune Key Slab.

At this point, these creatures were no threat to him. The real challenge was just getting here!

After defeating them, he grabbed the slab from the center of the room.

Then, he teleported back to the boss chamber and firmly placed the slab into the slot.

The sealed door slowly vanished, revealing the Dark Construct Boss inside.

Yang Tao let out a sigh of relief—he did not want to go through another maze again!

This was the strongest boss in The Age of Mysticism.

But for Yang Tao, it was no longer a challenge. Before long, the Dark Construct collapsed to the ground.
