Lily's POV
That evening as I got ready for bed, Adrian walked into the room
"I'll take you home tomorrow. Get a good night sleep and we leave. First thing in the morning" he said and was about to leave when he turned again
"And don't leave this room until tomorrow morning when I come get you" He said before leaving
That night, while I was asleep, I had a nightmare and woke up panting, I remembered Adrian's instruction, but I needed to clear my head so I got up from bed and grabbed my blonde wig, after putting it on, I left the room and just wandered about the castle until I saw a balcony.
I was about to watch the stars when I heard a voice behind me
"Who are you young lady? And what are you doing here at this time of the night?!" A man with Dark hair and Blue eyes asked authoritatively, and I needed no one to tell me he was the King
"I.....I... I was going to... To the servants quarters, Your Majesty" I stuttered
"Really? Why aren't you there already? All servants have finished working hours ago" he asked, obviously not buying my lie
"I... I was.. I was with the Prince, Your Majesty" I said
"With the Prince? What were you doing with the Prince?" He asked
"I told her to make me some soothing tea Father. I couldn't sleep" Adrian said appearing seemingly out of nowhere while glaring hard at me
"I thought you liked to prepare your tea yourself" The King said
"I wasn't in the mood to do that tonight. It's late anyway. Goodnight Father!" Adrian said and pulled me away.
When we got to the room he turned to me furiously
"I thought I made it clear that you shouldn't leave the room!!" He lashed
"I'm sorry, I didn't know I would bump into your dad, I just.... I just wanted to clear my head" I stuttered and he sighed
"It's... It's okay. I should have been mor understanding. Come on, get some sleep" He said softly before leaving
