Soft murmurs were heard by the time we reached the door and silence when we opened it. Before we could both could step in hunter was called by Aizawa, Handing him a note. "You are needed in Ms. Kayama's room for your psych evaluation." He looked at the note and then looked at me. "Izuku could you do me a favor please?" Nodding I was eager to have him rely on me more. "Could you pretend to be me and go to Ms. Kayama's room."
Face faulting I looked towards him incredulously. "Are you serious?" I could hear a snicker from the rest the class behind us. 'most likely Jiro.' "Hunter hurry up your wasting time." Aizawa interrupted the next word out of my mouth. Letting out a sigh he walked out of the classroom probably not knowing where he was going. "So lucky." Looking back I see Kaminari shedding false tears with Sero agreeing.
Deadpanning I walk over to my seat waiting for Mother to recreate her perfect serum, As was to catch father. "Sooo how long have you been together?" I had jump apparently to deep in my own thoughts about hunter. Mina stood near with Jiro and Toru. With a smile I responded. "We've been living together for nearly fourteen months." Any topic on Hunter is accepted. "My my you work fast" I chuckled and gave another response. "We simply took him in and now he lives with us, Plus I don't think he sees it that way." 'At least not yet'
"So does that mean any one of us has chance?" Mina asked teasingly. My heart nearly stopped and eyes nearly lost it's shine before I resumed acting normal. No one saw the expression but Jiro heard the heart skip a beat. "I'm just teasing at least I am, Just want to know what he's all about." The three sat down next down next to Izuku. And Tsuyu joined the conversation.
Walking down the hallway I seemed to have made a wrong turn somewhere when I was near the entrance for the second time. Looking at the map at the beginning again I heard heels moving towards me at a somewhat steady fast paced. "Hunter I've been looking for you for nearly twenty minutes, Do you want to tell me why you are at the entrance?" Looking toward the very irritated Midnight I cup my chin almost thinking of an excuse. "Just forget it follow me."
Catching up to her I followed her to the opposite side of the building, 'I was clearly off by quite the margin.' "So like it here so far, Tea?" Midnight said offering a cup a tea pot in her other hand. "No thank you but thanks for offering. I suppose I don't mind being here." "Any reason why that isn't a 'I love being here'." I thought for a second then turned back to her. "I'm pretty sure Nezu told you that the only reason that I am here is Izuku." "Oh That's sweet, Helping your girlfriend aren't you?" Midnight said trying to get a reaction out of me.
I mulled the thought over which wasn't exactly the reaction she was expecting. "Although I wouldn't mind being together with her it's too early to do any of that, As well as if she will continue feeling that way. Besides isn't it better to be rather successful and strong enough to defend each other first?" Midnight took her note pad from behind her seat and started writing. "So mature, Is anything here to your liking at least?" "No, well actually the food isn't half bad and some people are nice enough to my friend." With a soft smile she wrote down.
That smile turning into a teasing one she asked. "How about any girls, Like any here?" Instead of a blushing mess she wanted she only got a chuckle and shake of the head. "As much as I would like to find a partner to spend the rest of my life with I...I don't think I should." Her teasing smile turned into a small yet concern one.
"Anyway shouldn't we get to the actual reason that I am suppose to be here for?" She contemplated for a moment to continue down this line of questioning, She worried for one of her students, Concern prominent in her eyes. She sighed and decided for it to be another time before her teasing continues. "Can you tell me how you felt during the U.S.J?" Midnight asked entering a professional mode of sorts.
"I felt a sense of panic though not for my self, Like I emphasized basically every time I talk about Izuku is I was panicked for the well being of my friend." "I could understand how protective any one could be when some one you care about is in danger. But what about the students nearby, Did you at least help them?" Midnight some what knew the answer after the meeting and rewatching the footage with everyone else.
"I'm not exactly sure if Nezu has cameras in there but I did help...in a way." I said giving a thoughtful pause at the end. "Do you feel remorse for hurting the villains the way you did?" "No." The answer was simple and almost immediate. "I know this response isn't exactly the most heroic, Since Hero's do the right thing and don't intentionally hurt the 'Other Party' to such an extent. Though I'm not exactly a hero yet so surely you could understand that i will not show restraint for the possibility of mine and others death?"
It took her a second to write what ever she was before she looked into my eyes and smiled slightly. "It's not that I don't understand, But as a hero your life is on the line halve the time and when it is we still try to take them in mostly unharmed. Having your life on the line isn't exactly a reason to deal lethal blows at the start." She stated looking thoughtfully towards the window. "As hero's we try to save as many lives as we can even if that life is the one currently causing harm."
I looked at her an eyebrow raised. "I wish I could agree with you but on a totem pole the villains are most likely last behind buildings, citizens, Me, and then those who I consider my family." Midnight chuckled before replying. "That is why at this school we will help you become strong as well think quickly enough to handle those types of villains. On a second note what exactly can your quirk do? We heard from the principle that you can control water, fire, earth, and the wind."
"Well I figured out how use my manipulation out side of my body like such." I proceeded to make a blue spiked rod about a foot long a meter away from my body. " I could do more with more objects but distance is where I am lacking, I could only conjure something at a maximum of two and a halve meters and send it on it's way." A thought crossed my mind, A very exiting thought and I chuckled. "Hmm? What's so funny?" Midnight asked her eyebrow raised once more.
"It's just that, If I can conjure things at a distance then technically I could use telekinesis." I said already trying to wrap my mana over the empty cup in front of me. "How did I not think of this earlier." Midnight watched as a blue energy radiated from the cup, Streams of blue energy coming off in stings. "Oh wow." She couldn't help but be captured by the light coming off the cup.
The cost wasn't to significant but the lack of control was frustrating. Letting it down slowly I grin wickedly. "I want you to know Ms. Midnight I'm going to have so much fun with this." I chuckled more. "What are you going to do with new found ability?" She asked a little worried. "I will become the prank king of the world, No one will know it was me when I show a different ability." "I don't think you'll pull it off when all that glowing will lead it to you." She stated making a point. "I suppose but control and practice is what's going to happen even during class."
"Alright just a couple more question. OK?" Midnight said getting ready to take more notes. I nodded leaning on a fist almost smirking. "This might be a difficult question to answer but... Are you ok with the death of the thing called the Nomu on your hands?" "Yeah I'm completely fine with it." Apparently I answered to fast for her liking or the fact I was so casual with it. She gave me a searching look before writing down again.
"Just one more and we'll be done here." I nodded once more waiting patiently for her question. "Do you like your classmates?" I though for a moment. "I don't personally know every one like Izuku does I do not mind them. Though a number of them are childish." I answered truthfully. "So then why don't you get to know them better?" She asked curiosity peaking. "Building relations with people isn't something I like to do, As a matter of fact I recently learned of underground hero stuff. I'd rather be away from people and noise."
She smiled and put her note pad down. "Aww you don't want to be in the spot light with me?" She started to tease again. "As much as I would love to be hanging out with you, I think the laws of this country made them selves clear about doing things with minors, Though if you want to drink I wouldn't be opposed." She giggled before retorting. "you said it yourself you're a minor, No drinking for you." "Well i'll be seeing you in history or whatever it's called. "Awww can't you complement me before you go." She had a small smile as I looked at her.
Thinking quickly I looked her dead in the eyes. "There are no words to describe the beauty that sits so elegantly in front of me, In fact the word beautiful would be a disservice to you, Anyone who would call you as pretty as a rose would be an insult something so close to perfection would undoubtedly be offended. That good enough?" I said a small smile being returned to her. with a slight almost unnoticeable blush she nodded and said. "Try and get along with your classmates."
With that I left her office. "Nezu?" "No, He's going to hound dog from now on." Nezu said over the coms. "Damn! such a pretty boy escaping from me." She sighed once more before speaking. "We should inform Aizawa to add more group activities, As well as keeping a close eye on him." Midnight then proceeded to give her report to Nezu.
By the time I reached the class room door I saw a group of students blocking the entrance. "How'll do you think they'll be?" I heard one voice sound. "I bet they are just some arrogant bastard." Another voice sounded before I heard a thud. "Let's not be to hasty to judge they might be quiet nice."
"Excuse me but I need get back to class." My voice caught their attention. To which most of them looked at the lack of an arm. A girl with orange hair spoke first. "Are you apart of 1A?" She questioned obviously trying not to look. "I am what of it?" "We were just looking forward to meeting our sister class cause all of the news was about The U.S.J, So we just wanted to see why they targeted you." The orange haired girl said ending with a bow.
"Well prepared to be somewhat disappointed, Though most of us are very friendly we have like four kids that somewhat Anti social. Including me we have one that swears like a sailor and two of them won't exaltedly acknowledge you and me, I'll uh I'll well you get the point."
"Oh uhm thanks for the info, But I think you're pretty nice. See Monoma they aren't as bad as you say." She chided the boy dizzily getting back up. "Huh wait how did he get into 1A with a missing arm!?" He said before getting smack in the back of the head by the orange haired girl. "I-I am so sorry if he offended you in anyway." "It's fine as a matter a fact I'll tell you something interesting." I said a grin spreading across my face. "Y-You don't halv-." She was cut off when I started speaking.
"During the U.S.J There was an entire villain organization or at least hundreds of criminals. But one was far stronger than the rest, They called it Nomu. It took my arm and one punch was all it took. So I'd be careful cause they are still out there." Again I said my final words before moving forward and the the ones blocking the door moved out of the way. Before I could open the door the bell rang and Katsuki slammed the door open.
"Huh? Why the hell are all you extra's blocking the door!" He started yelling then bumped into me. "Hey watch wher- Oh." He quieted down before reaching out a hand and then having to switch hands due to the one of mine not existing. "God I hate being short." I could faintly hear a "Don't use the lords name in vain." But ignored it when grabbing the proffered hand. Katsuki had kept eye contact but said nothing and left.
out came the rest of the class who a little green and some looked like they had tear streaks down their face. "Hunter you came back." Izuku ran past the others and went in for another hug. To which I grabbed out of the air with a chain. "Anything interesting happen?" I asked interested on why some of our classmates looked perturbed. "Well we watched the footage of the U.S.J and most of it was on the battle between you and the black bird. At the same time we went over the actions of our class and what we could have done better."
"Oh ok well guess what, I could in theory use telekinesis like your mom but better." This shocked her and she immediately whipped out her note book for where is still didn't know. I told her some details and she theorized up some Ideas before she stopped and asked a certain question. At the same time Mina, Jiro, Asui, Toru, And Ochaco were peeking around the corner. "Is there any girls you like here." I again though about it. "Well what do you mean like?" I asked to specify. "Like like." "Oh uh no not really but from what I observed, Mina, Toru, and Ochaco are a big eccentric with a some energy to them to which I don't mind. But Jiro and Asui are pretty chill, And Yaoyorozu is very smart with and all of them are interesting."
"So who do you like the most." Izuku asked once more wanting to know who to get rid of in the future. "hmm... I think. On a list it would be you, Jiro, either Momo or Asui then the rest." Izuku's heart beat a little faster at beating everyone but Jiro was most likely a threat.
"What did he say? What did he say?" Mina's enthusiasm almost gave them away. With rose tinted cheeks Jiro Repeated the list as well as the statements. "AW! Me?! Towards the bottom, Oh I'll show him what he's missing." Mina said getting riled up along with Toru.
"You ready to go home now?" I asked Izuku getting an agreement before setting off.
