"Alright, I believe you." Caleb said, letting the man go.
The man scurried away to join his companions, but Caleb and Jess were no longer paying attention to the man.
Their senses were locked on the person who slipped away the moment they could push through the heavy pressure.
While the others did a similar thing, this person in particular moved with a destination in mind instead of just getting away.
"Let's go,"
The two disappeared in a flash, leaving those who remained to gasp in shock. They had no intention of stopping their target and only wanted to follow his lead.
The suspect ran through the city at full speed, complimenting their movement with magic. Within 30 minutes, the suspect was almost out of the city.
"I don't think our guy is in this city." Jess said, leaning her back into Caleb's embrace. "They probably packed and left."
"Most likely," Caleb replied. "Leaving the city probably has a different reason."
