A new type of plague has appeared in America—mad rat disease.

This is caused by bacteria carried by mutant rats from Phoenix. Being bitten by a rat or consuming food contaminated by them could result in infection.

Major TV stations urgently interrupted regular programming to broadcast the news.

The incubation period of mad rat disease ranges from 15 to 30 days. The disease is named this way because, much like rabies, once symptoms manifest, there is currently no cure.

The mad rat virus first attacks the central nervous system, causing the infected to collapse almost immediately.

Next, infected individuals develop festering ulcers on their bodies, and their immune system collapses—in a way similar to the final stage of AIDS, but this process accelerates at an alarming speed.
