Evelyn shifted on the bed, but then felt more emptiness than she should have. That made her stir, and her eyelids fluttered open as she tried to find her husband. However, she realized that the bed was indeed empty, save from her, and she noticed the blanket covering her better than it should have, after a night of turning around while asleep.
