Upon hearing this, the unease in Madam Mister's brows finally dissipated as she solemnly said, "Thank you."
Leonard Churchill and Sophia Jones listened, a hint of contemplation appearing in their eyes.
Speaking of which, Madam Mister once again signaled the bartender to serve drinks and said, "An old friend of yours asked me to send his regards to you; this is the drink he told me to buy for you. Also, he was wondering if the object he's looking for is somewhere in this camp."
Elder Clinton was startled, "My old friend? What object?"
Madam Mister didn't respond; she simply watched him.
A drunken patron nearby couldn't stand it any longer and laughed mockingly, "Hey, old man, aren't you supposed to be able to do Divinations... and you ask others what they're looking for?"
This conversation was overheard by everyone.
But what they heard wasn't the true intention of the dialogue.
