Author's Note
This author will be revising chapters from time to time—but I make no promises as to frequency ????.
Every 20 chapters or so, I'll update the character bios, power levels, or other background stuff.
As of right now, I don't have drafts or pre-written chapters in storage. That will change later on, so I can update more regularly.
If I'm fast, maybe a chapter every 3 days.
If I'm slow… well, maybe once a week.

Comes from a prosperous family in the previous world—money is no issue, martial arts manuals stacked like mountains.
Mysterious Old Man — Unknown
Cryptic and mysterious. His past is unknown, according to the original plot. He will be the protagonist's teacher. Other secrets will come out in due time.
Lord Jian — One of the commanders of the guards
Hired by the Black Dragon Martial Society. Responsible for patrols and random guard duty.
Two minor guards — Side roles / extras
Just trying to make a living. lucky enough to be selected as guards for the Zixin Pavilion. Hoping to be able to return home and get married someday.
Bullied servant —
Harmed one of the young masters of Zixin Pavilion during work and got into trouble because of it.
