Chapter 1 - The way a story begins

The beginning of every story always begins...

Once upon a time, when the world was originally only Chaos - a chaotic void.

Chaos created the first elements of the world to arise

Gaia, the Primordial Mother Earth

Tartarus, the Abyss of Darkness

Erebus, the Darkness of Hell

Eros, the Primordial Love

Nyx, the eternal night.

Gaia is the embodiment of the earth, the embodiment of the fertile ground that nurtures life, and then she and Chaos in turn gave birth to three children

Uranus, the embodiment of the Sky

Ourea, the embodiment of the primordial mountain

Pontus, the embodiment of the primordial sea

Later, Gaia married her own son Uranus, and together they gave birth to 12 Titans, 3 Cyclops, and 3 Hecatoncheires.

Uranus saw the appearance of the children of the Cyclops and Hecatoncheires and hated their ugly appearance so much that he threw his own child into Tartarus, which made Gaia go crazy.

He then asked one of the Titan children, Cronus, to use a sickle to cut off Uranus' genitals and throw it into the sea. From there, a goddess was born from the sea foam, Aphrodite.

After overthrowing his father Uranus, Cronus ascended the throne.

But like his father, Cronus also hated the ugly appearance of the Cyclops and Hecatoncheires and threw them back into Tartarus.

When Gaia saw her own son doing this, Gaia prophesied that he would be overthrown by Cronus' own children.

Because he was afraid that the prophecy would come true, Cronus married Rhea and the children were born one after another, but Cronus swallowed them, causing Rhea to be extremely shocked and angry.

____________

On the island of Crete, in the dense green forest.

"So that's the story, I understand."

A little girl with long, sandy hair, when the light shone on her hair, there were some shiny red lights, eyes the color of pomegranates, and long ears, was sitting listening to a talking bird. The bird had green feathers, it was none other than Gaia transformed, and also the little girl's grandmother.

"This is like a change of cycle, no matter how strong the previous generation is, the next generation can be superior, not necessarily the power that can be replaced by intelligence, right?"

"Yes, you understand things quickly, Euthalia"- Gaia

The little girl's name was Euthalia, she was the youngest daughter of Cronus and Rhea, meaning the youngest of the siblings.

When Zeus was born, Rhea asked Gaia to hide Zeus and replace him with a stone wrapped in a cloth to fool her husband. However, the goddess did not expect that she would become pregnant again, which made Rhea afraid that she would not be able to fool Cronus again, so she had to ask Gaia.

The mother goddess of the earth used her power to pull the baby out of Rhea's belly and wrapped the baby in a bubble, so that the baby could grow and develop in it like in the mother's womb. There was a small mistake that made the baby's ears longer than normal, but in return, the baby seemed to be given gifts to compensate.

The baby girl was named Euthalia.

Since Euthalia was a baby and was brought to live with her brother Zeus by Gaia. Gaia soon realized Euthalia's intelligence when she could speak as a baby, which shocked the mother goddess of the earth.

"I remember the first time I held you in my arms, the first thing you said to me was 'Are you my mother?'. I am indeed a mother, but a mother goddess of the earth." - Gaia

"Generally speaking, you are the mother of all. Even if my siblings are your grandchildren, they are still your children, which is quite reasonable in a way." - Euthalia

"That's right! You're absolutely right!" - Gaia

The bird hugged the little girl's face, it was a pity that Gaia could only transform into her animal form to secretly meet her granddaughter and could not reveal this secret location to Cronus.

"Oh my, I never thought Rhea would give birth to such a smart and understanding daughter like you. Even though I am the goddess of the earth, I wish you were my own child." - Gaia

"Goddess Gaia, I know it's a bit regretful, but can we put that aside?" - Euthalia

Goddess Gaia then regretfully left this cute little face and changed to a proud tone.

"Alright, I was just emotional. Also, don't call me Goddess Gaia, it sounds too distant. Euthalia, although I might be asking for this a bit too much. I hope you don't mind too much"- Gaia

"What is it that makes the goddess- I mean Lady Gaia so upset?"- Euthalia

"The thing is, can you please keep an eye on Zeus when that brat is old enough to overthrow Cronus?"- Gaia

"Doesn't Zeus already have many people taking care of him? The goat goddess Amalthea, and also the Nymphs and Curetes. Didn't they raise Zeus very well?"- Euthalia

"It's true that they raised Zeus to adulthood, but no one taught him seriously. I'm afraid that after Zeus ascends the throne, he will rely on his power and do terrible things"- Gaia

"So you want me to help you moderate those brats joy and Zeus's wrongdoings? This is quite difficult because Zeus is my big brother"- Euthalia

"You don't need to worry about this Euthalia, I will give you a gift"- Gaia

After saying that, the goddess Gaia in the form of a bird immediately transmitted a green power into Euthalia, causing her whole body to glow for a moment and then turn off.

"This is my blessing. Even if Zeus is your big brother, he will still have to listen to you. If he doesn't listen, there will be punishment for him, or anyone else"- Gaia

The goddess Gaia's powerful voice was like an affirmation that Euthalia was the child she loved the most, she expected that the child would not disappoint her. After giving the gift to Euthalia, Gaia flew away.

Euthalia watched her grandmother's figure in bird form fly away, then waved goodbye and turned back. There are two caves on the island of Crete, the Dikteon Cave and the Idaean Cave.

Dikteon Cave is where Euthalia lives, and Idaean Cave is where Zeus lives.

It took quite a while for the two of them to meet on foot, that is until Zeus had the power to control lightning and could move freely very easily. This made Zeus's personality become arrogant.

When arriving at Idaean Cave, Euthalia saw Zeus, a boy with white hair that used to be curly black hair but after the power erupted, it turned white, bright blue eyes, a very beautiful face even though he was still a boy. He was playing with the nymphs and curetes. Euthalia remembered Gaia's words and she already felt tired from having to babysit her older brother.

"Zeus! What the hell are you doing?" - Euthalia shouted even more

Hearing the girl's call, Zeus turned around and hugged her tightly.

"Euthalia, where have you been? Come here and play with everyone!"- Zeus

"Zeus, playing is fun, but playing too much doesn't help with studying"- Euthalia

"Learning this, learning that, and then studying again. Euthalia, oh Euthalia, studying all the time won't make you understand how to enjoy yourself"- Zeus

"At least it makes me smarter than you in terms of intelligence"- Euthalia

A sentence that made Zeus fall to the ground and the thunder around him also stopped because of that. From a young age until now, Zeus didn't understand why Euthalia could say such cruel words. Ever since her grandmother Gaia brought her here, the first thing she said was.

"Are you my big brother?"- Euthalia when she was a baby

That sentence made Zeus's heart ache, but as a big brother, he had to act strong. Zeus struggled to get up and tried to keep a cheerful expression.

"So what, even if I learn, they'll be boring. When I become a god, I can learn whenever I want."- Zeus

"You look confident, huh? Even though you live in the cave with the fewest paths, you don't know the location of the cave. My cave has many paths, it's much harder to remember than yours."- Euthalia

Zeus once again collapsed at his little sister's words. It was true that the Idaean cave had very few paths, but for some reason he couldn't remember them. Meanwhile, the Dikteon cave had many winding paths, and all the paths were the same.

Looking at her brother lying on the ground, Euthalia sighed, even though they were both still children. So overthrowing their father Cronus would have to wait until they grew up.

Extending her hand towards her brother, Euthalia smiled lightly.

"Alright, let's have fun. Studying can wait."- Euthalia

"Euthalia...you're the best!"- Zeus

The older brother immediately hugged his little sister tightly and the two held hands and ran towards the nymphs and curetes to have fun.
