Auxiliary Volume – A Message to My Readers

From the Author of "Your Honor, I'm Dead"

Hi, dear readers.

First of all—thank you. Whether you've just started reading or have followed Se-ri and Joon-ho from the very first chapter, I'm truly grateful you're here.

"Your Honor, I'm Dead" started as a strange little spark in my head:

"What if a ghost and a lawyer had to share an office?"

Then I thought—what if that ghost was arrogant, annoying, charming, and just a little bit lonely?

And what if the lawyer didn't believe in ghosts... until one started rearranging her furniture?

From that, this story was born. A slow-burning, stubbornly romantic, legally questionable partnership between two people who should never have met—but absolutely needed each other.

This isn't just a story about a ghost.

It's about grief. About legacy. About the absurdity of trying to live in a world that expects you to keep moving forward, even when you're not ready.

And yes—about love. Real love. The kind that shows up at the most inconvenient moment, in the most impossible form.

This novel will take its time.

You won't see instant romance or overnight transformations. Characters will grow, resist, stumble, and find each other piece by piece.

Each chapter is a single day. Every word is meant to pull you deeper into their strange, shared world.

So thank you for being patient. Thank you for reading slowly with me.

And thank you—for letting two unlikely people haunt your heart, one chapter at a time.

See you in the next session.

We're just getting started.

—With affection,

The Writer of Your Honor, I'm Dead
