Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: My last wish

### Monologue

On a planet named Earth, there existed a select few individuals endowed with extraordinary and mysterious powers. Some utilized their gifts for the greater good, striving to uplift humanity and protect the weak. Others, however, succumbed to greed and selfishness, using their abilities to pursue their own nefarious desires. Among those who chose the path of righteousness were the ones known as "heroes." They stood as beacons of hope, fighting relentlessly against the forces of evil that threatened to plunge the world into chaos. EVERY CHILD ASPIRES TO BE A HERO.

### Prologue

One day, clouds covered the skies, and no rays of the sun could reach Earth. The city of Metropolia was shrouded in darkness, a sense of foreboding hanging heavy in the air. Above the city, a fleet of ominous figures emerged, their presence casting a shadow that seemed to suck the light out of the world. Among these otherworldly invaders, one figure stood out, exuding an aura of authority and menace. This was Wrendal, the ruthless leader of the invasion force.

Wrendal's ambition was clear and ruthless: to conquer Earth and harvest the special powers of its gifted inhabitants. These powers, once absorbed, would render him near invincible. His eyes, cold and calculating, scanned the city below, envisioning the chaos and dominance he would soon unleash.

With a wave of his hand, Wrendal unleashed a barrage of destructive aura power spears, each one glowing with a sinister energy. They streaked through the sky like dark comets, crashing into buildings and exploding on impact. The city was thrown into chaos as his army descended, their armored forms hitting the ground with a thunderous impact. They began their systematic destruction, tearing through streets, obliterating structures, and slaughtering anyone who dared to stand in their way.

Screams filled the air, mingling with the sounds of destruction. Fires raged uncontrollably, smoke billowing into the darkened sky. The once bustling metropolis was rapidly transforming into a war zone.

Amidst the turmoil, a group of individuals appeared, their presence a beacon of hope against the tide of darkness. These were the city's protectors, individuals gifted with special powers. Leading them was a certain young boy, infamous for his skill and respected for his bravery.

The boy moved with a speed and grace that seemed almost supernatural. His sword, a gleaming blade of pure energy, cut through the air with a zapping dash. In a single, fluid motion, he slashed through three of the invading entities, their forms dissipating into dark mist as they fell.

Wrendal, hovering above the chaos, sensed the disturbance in his ranks. His eyes locked onto that boy, and a deep, malevolent smile spread across his face. "Oh, that's something new," he said, his voice dripping with sinister glee. "I think I like your powers."

Brandishing his sword, the young hero dashed forward. Wrendal, intrigued by this display, fixated on the hero with a wicked smile. "Impressive," he hissed. "Show me more."

With a sinister command, Wrendal directed his army to attack the hero, eager to test the limits of his newfound adversary's abilities. The clash between hero and villain ignited, marking the beginning of a battle that would decide the fate of Metropolia.

The hero moved with unparalleled speed and agility, cutting down invaders left and right.

As the battle raged on, the hero's presence became a beacon of hope for the terrified citizens of Metropolia. They watched in awe as he and his team pushed back the invaders, inch by inch. Wrendal, observing from above, grew increasingly frustrated. This was no ordinary opponent; this was a force to be reckoned with.

As Wrendal's ominous presence cast a shadow over the battlefield, the hero stood tall amidst the chaos. With his loyal brother by his side and his trusted partner at his back, he radiated an aura of unwavering resolve.

"I, Valorsoul, will protect not just Metropolia, but the entire world with every fiber of my being," he proclaimed, his voice ringing out clear and strong. "Do not despair, my fellow citizens, for I am here to stand against the darkness that threatens us all."

With a sweep of his hand, Valorsoul's sword ignited with a brilliant blaze, casting a radiant light that pierced through the gloom. His brother and partner mirrored his determination, their eyes blazing with fierce determination as they prepared to face Wrendal and his forces.

As the people of Metropolia looked on, hope stirred within their hearts. They knew that as long as Valorsoul and his allies stood united, there was still a chance for victory. With a rallying cry that echoed across the battlefield, they joined together, ready to fight for their future, guided by the unwavering courage of their hero.

The fierce battle raged on, with Valorsoul and his allies pushing back Wrendal's forces inch by inch. The ground was littered with the remnants of the invaders, yet Wrendal's devastating energy seemed endless. His dark power crackled ominously, ready to unleash its fury.

In a sudden, desperate move, Wrendal gathered his energy and launched a massive, concentrated beam straight at Valorsoul. Time seemed to slow as the deadly attack hurtled towards him. In a heartbeat, Inferno and Glory, Valorsoul's brother and partner, leaped into the path of the beam. Their combined powers created a brief, radiant shield, but it was not enough. The beam tore through their defenses, and with a blinding flash, they fell, sacrificing their lives to save Valorsoul.

Grief and rage surged through Valorsoul, but he knew the battle could not continue on Earth; Wrendal's power was too destructive. With a determined shout, Valorsoul taunted Wrendal, daring him to follow. "Is this all the might of the ruler of galaxies? Come and face me if you dare!"

He launched into the sky at full speed, Wrendal in hot pursuit. They rocketed past planets in a blur, the stars themselves seeming to stretch around them. Valorsoul pushed his limits, leading Wrendal further from Earth. The void of space became their battleground, a silent expanse punctuated by the glow of distant suns.

Suddenly, Wrendal unleashed another dark beam, its malevolent energy searing through the void. Valorsoul twisted to evade, but the beam struck his side, sending him spiraling out of control. Pain lanced through him as he crashed onto a nearby asteroid, its rocky surface splintering under the impact.

Gasping for breath, Valorsoul struggled to his feet. The loss of Inferno and Glory weighed heavily on him, but their sacrifice fueled his determination. Wrendal descended, a sinister smile playing on his lips. The final confrontation loomed, with the stars as their silent witnesses.

The null and eerily silent expanse of space quivered with each colossal clash between Valorsoul and Wrendal. Shockwaves from their battle rippled outward, reducing nearby comets and meteors to mere dust. Their movements were a blur of light and darkness, each strike resonating with a force that echoed through the void.

Despite his valiant efforts, Valorsoul found himself struggling against Wrendal's overwhelming strength. Injured and weary, he could not muster the full extent of his abilities. Wrendal's relentless attacks pushed him to his limits, each blow a reminder of his fading strength.

Back on Earth, the battle had ended, and Wrendal's forces lay defeated. The people of Metropolia, their eyes turned skyward, awaited any sign of Valorsoul. They knew their hero was fighting a battle beyond their comprehension, and their hearts were heavy with hope and fear.

In the cold expanse of space, Valorsoul and Wrendal's powers clashed with explosive intensity. Yet, Valorsoul could not gain the upper hand. Desperation gripped him, and he knew there was only one way to end this. Summoning every ounce of his remaining strength, he made a fateful decision. He would sacrifice himself to ensure Wrendal's defeat. Their exchanged devastating blows, each strike sending tremors through the cosmos. Valorsoul gritted his teeth, his vision blurring from pain. "You're strong," he admitted, "but I won't let you destroy my home."

Wrendal's laughter echoed ominously. "You are but a speck, Valorsoul. I am eternal. This universe will bow to me."

The relentless assault continued, but Valorsoul knew he couldn't win through sheer force. Desperation welled up inside him, and he made a fateful decision. "If I can't beat you," he murmured, "then I'll take you down with me."

With a burst of speed, Valorsoul grasped Wrendal, locking him in a vice-like hold.He prepared to self-destruct, channeling all his energy into a final, devastating explosion. Wrendal's eyes widened as he realized what was happening. "What are you doing?" he snarled.

"This ends now!" Valorsoul roared, his body beginning to glow with an intense light. "For the future, for everyone I love, I'll end this here."

But Wrendal was cunning. As Valorsoul prepared to self-destruct, Wrendal detached his dark soul and a part of his brain, sending them to the regeneration chamber of his destroyed ship.

Valorsoul saw the escape, but it was too late to stop it. The realization struck him like a blow, but he refused to let his sacrifice be in vain. With a heavy heart, he sent it hurtling towards Earth, his final message carried within its light

Summoning the last of his strength, Valorsoul gathered his remaining energy into a brilliant sphere of light. "This isn't over," he whispered, casting the energy ball towards Earth. With a heavy heart, he sent it hurtling towards Earth, his final message carried within its light

"Please, inherit my power for the future," Valorsoul's voice echoed, reaching out to the one he had chosen. "I choose you to be my successor. Use this power with great responsibility and safeguard the Earth. This is my last wish."

As the ball of energy sped towards Earth, Valorsoul's body erupted in a blinding explosion, consuming both him and the remnants of Wrendal in a final, cataclysmic burst.

To be continued.
