Weeks passed, Dawn had apologized and his and Luna's relationship somehow went back to normal.
Not much happened as they just attended their theoretical and practical class though Dawn had a harder time dealing with others stare from fear, to jealousy or other due to the rumors.
He already expected it since in nobility, jealousy is a base stone...some even tried to pick a fight with him.
But since he already got a warning, Dawn decided to lay low and just ignore them...fortunately since Luna is constantly with him.
If those noble try to come with hands or magic, Luna's presence alone dissuaded them as she was still the school's genius.
Now to class once again, Dawn was dozing off staring at the knight training field through the window.
Dawn : (I analyzed the kingdom's basic swordsmanship and it's mediocre at best...but I wonder if I can actually reproduce them without having ever tried them...)
The limits of his skill : Reader was still unknown, every day that passed made him discover new thing about it.
Teacher : Not listening to class, sir Arceid ? It doesn't make a good example for us noble people.

Dawn could hear a few people snickering and mocking him...thinking about what he should do, Dawn came to a conclusion.
Dawn : (Some light taunts shouldn't hurt.)
His eyes fell on the book they were studying, it was a large manual with over 300 pages about the basics of magic, history and much more magic related.
Dawn didn't bother to read a single page of it until now as most of this was complete bullshit formed on theory which wasn't even confirmed via experiment.
His eyes glowing an instant, all the information present inside the book were immediately transferred and stocked in his mind.
It hurt a little his mental strength but nothing he couldn't take...smirking, Dawn got up.
Dawn : Then teacher, how about we make a small bet.
Ria Pov
I stared emotionlessly at our teacher who was on his knee...his pride totally ripped off as Dawn left the room.
Just now, he had challenged a teacher of this estimated academy...where each teacher has dozens of years of experience in theory.
Yet, just now he had destroyed one of them, answering each one of his questions and then ending him at the first mistake he made.
He was merciless...and now leaving as their bet stipulated, he would be allowed to leave early in case of victory.
Ria : He is a monster...
Just now he didn't just state a known fact, rather he used the teacher's knowledge and destroyed him by giving a more logical and possible reasoning.
Leaving no room for debate...
Leo : What a savage, why did he even come to study here ? I feel like he already completed our whole school program.
Ria : He sure isn't normal.
My eyes trailed on miss Luna who got up and left following Dawn...they sure are close or rather, i feel like miss Luna just follows him.
As if those class lessons were meaningless, now that I think...wouldn't it be better to learn from Dawn who seems more knowledgeable than our teacher ?
Leo : What are you thinking ?
Ria : Nothing, honestly i think if you really want to take the throne and become the king, make him your ally.
Leo : I know.
I did some research, Dawn Arceid is also the half brother of Sola Lavane, a lifetime genius...now Luna Zickard is also attached to him.
Two geniuses...he couldn't be normal since the start, how stupid of the viscount Lavane to ignore such prodigies.

Another day has passed and Dawn's reputation keeps getting worse as now he not only has the students but also the teacher on the back.
Though at the end, nothing much happened beside piercing stares.
Anyway now Dawn was walking down the long alley from the main building to the dormitory.
Lune still following him,
Dawn : By the way, Luna, what was the name of that teacher yesterday ?
Luna : I forgot.
Dawn : I-i see...(Well can't judge her, I myself don't try to remember.)
He deadpanned before stopping dead on his track...his body and sense reacting as he felt disturbance in the air.
A weak pressure hitting his instinct.
Dawn : That...
Luna : You felt it too ?
Dawn nodded before looking around, it was the same feeling he had felt when he was in the forest hunting.
A wild beast was running with bloodlust.
Dawn : (But why would a wild monster be here ? Wait, isn't our next class !)
He finally connected the dots as a high pitched cry was shouted from behind, turning around both Luna and Dawn stared down at the alley as a woman was on the ground, a sort of bull deer charging at her.
Luna : Why is that monster here ?
Dawn : Our next class is a practical lesson, the school was surely going to put a real monster for us to kill.
His eyes turned colder, the distance was quite high but nothing Dawn couldn't make it, he just had to enhance his body and make it.
But he didn't, instead he stared upward as someone had already jumped in.
A knight student, he jumped up in a vulgar way and try to pierce the monster's body with the tip of his sword...
Dawn : This idiot...the tip of a sword is the weakest point of your weapon...even more when it makes contact with a solid area.
And as expected, his sword broke, shocking the student...thought at least the woman was safe as the focus of the monster turned to him.
???: Oh shit !
Now running, Dawn and Lune could just stare at this comical scene.
Luna : Should we help ?
Dawn : I honestly don't know...
His hesitation comes from the fact that it will attract more attention to him...
???: [Frost bind.]
Before Dawn could act, someone jumped in...a senior mage from Sola's class.
Her short blue hair and crystal colored eyes radiated as multiple binds made of ice locked the monster's mobility away.
Dawn : (An ice user ?)
Luna : She is strong...
The newcomer took her wand and formed a block of ice midair knocking the monster out...a clean and fast job.
Lyra Pov
Lyra Ashwald, from a lower baron family I always did my best to achieve perfection...since my family had lost a lot of influence through age.
My goal is simple: I want to restore my family's fame.
That's why I always worked harder than anyone to reach the top until I met her...Sola Lavane, a genius I couldn't beat...
Even after years passed with her, training with her, learning with her...i could just watch the gap between us increase.

Walking away, Dawn didn't care enough of Lyra to go to her...the only thing in common they had was Ice magic but again her control could be the best in the kingdom at the end, Snowie would dominate when it came to Ice.
Parting away with Luna, Dawn went back to his room before sneaking out, he wanted to be alone for a while.
His destination was the training field...a hidden one or rather rarely used.
Dawn : My eyes are hitching for a while.
Rubbing his right eyes, since he had used his unique skill : Reader against Luna, his right eyes started convulsing.
At first, he thought it was a backdrown effect from the skill but now he feels like something had changed or rather it had evolved.
Dawn : I can see further...

Suddenly interrupted by the number 2, Sola turned to her waiting for her next words.
Lyra : I heard your younger brother is part of the new students...
Sola : Yes and ?
Lyra : The rare times you praised someone were all about him...but from what I see, he is just using a genius to protect himself.
Their eyes falling on Dawn and Luna who were discussing, they have already decided and formed their group.

Honestly, I haven't paid much attention to Luna but...she is a monster.
While Dawn's magicule stats are around 7 on 10, hers are at 9...she doesn't have the status reincarnated like me or Dawn.
She also has a unique skill I cannot see the characteristic of...just the name, unique skill : Observer.
And her name...i had never seen that, it's shining...who is she really ?
Oh also, I recently discovered that the more experience i get the more accurate the scale given my unique skill are.

Turning my head toward the two in question, they easily formed a group via their popularity.
Leo Muth, he has below average physical stat and average magic stats...but his intelligence is above average.

While Sola was having her time, Dawn was talking with his new group mate.

The two knights are male while the mage was a female...it was natural for this categorization as Male are naturally and genetically more made for close combat with a few exceptions.
And boys tend to prefer swords over wands.
The first knight was a brown haired boy with an arrogant smile, Aaron, the second knight was his subordinate or dog...just a guy who followed Aaron.
Lastly, the mage name was Laika from the innocent household Barvaj.
A well known family for their non involvement in politics...they had committed no crime for centuries...
Dawn : (This Laika has shown average results everywhere, well it seems she is a jack of all trades but for the common folk.)
Now that he had upgraded his skill, hsi eyes could see much more...the flow of magicule inside each one of the students present, the teacher or seniors...
Speaking about them, the senior supervising them was none other than...Lyra, the second best of her grade.
Lyra : It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Laika, Miss Luna.
She didn't bother to greet the others, Dawn read through her and noticed that she had no real ill intent, she was just not interested in people of lower standing than her...despite the Arceid family's situation being similar to her own.
Aaron : You don't greet me ? I'm hurt.

Eyeing at the conversation, Dawn listened as Aaron approached the senior student.

Licking his lips, Aarojn looked over at Dawn...his malicious eyes turned friendly as he waved his hand but unfortunately for him, Dawn could read his true intention.

Brutally turning her head toward the girl hidden behind Dawn, Lyra's eyes widened as she gritted her teeth.
She had always hated the count Aaron, he is a talented swordsman who followed a strict education...through this he had grown his ego and turned not like the hero his father expected.

Turning around, Dawn didn't notice that Luna was sleeping the whole time...she just woke up and yawned cutely, not bothered by the stare.

Closing her eyes again, she leaned down on Dawn's shoulder before falling asleep again.

Lura witnessed the scene as she couldn't understand how two people totally different, one a genius and the other a failure could be that close.
While Aaron grew an annoyed smirk...
Aaron : (I'll destroy you Dawn Arceid, you don't deserve this genius's company.)

Dawn could,just sigh as a teacher step forward.
Teacher : We will now release the monster, be careful and do your best.

The bull didn't stop, at this rate...Aaron was going to be crippled for life...the charge of such a beast could cause heavy damage to any human.
So a young student like him, it could even be fatal.

Forcing his arm out, his cold eyes terrified Aaron who was just below him on his butt.
