EPILOGUE
As we start to bring this story — so far — to a close, let's be kind and rewind all the way to the very beginning of this entire story.
Not sure if you noticed but, I didn't include the first finger scenario when telling you when to put the others down.
Put that first finger back down, because well, everyone likes telling stories. This was mine. Why shouldn't you?
As for the ending of this one, it's not over.
I'm from Where Wild Cherries Grow and this is my story, up until this point, of course.
At the end of the day — it turned out the only person standing in my way, was myself.
After you get past all the trauma, loss, stress, etcetera/so forth — what you suspected were blood droplets in the beginning,
…was just dried cherry juice all along.
POSTFACE
I just want people to know they're not alone — don't hold back on your dreams. Life is a journey with a literal view — you just gotta take it in.
Life is too short to spend it miserable. I'm grateful for how things ultimately turned out; things could have been worse and thank God they weren't.
Don't give up when you feel like you've hit rock bottom — after all, there's nowhere to go but up at that point.
I want to leave my mark on the world — I want to make mine a positive and impactful mark; what we do while we're here is how we'll be remembered when we're gone.
Life is how you choose to view things, ultimately begging the following questions to be answered,
Is it truly a crime scene — or just a different perspective?
Furthermore, was it truly blood droplets you saw — or just dried cherry juice all along?
