'Good day madam' The person calling who goes by the name Mr Ben Said.'Good day'She said as her heart race more faster than a racing engine.'Are you Mrs Derek' he continued.Mrs Derek became more curious and anxious about the reason for the call 'We please need your attention at the State's Hospital,your daughter just fainted and has been currently rushed down to the Emergency room in the hospital,Pls we would love your immediate presence here.'I would be there soon' Mrs Derek said confused

CHAPTER ONE(1)
SHOULD I TELL MOM
Gazing through the window,lost in thought,Kimberly sat at the edge of her bed, thinking a way to seek permission from her mom to attend the outing planned by her schoolmates. Her mind started racing with strategies,plotting the perfect moment and manner to reveal the outing plans to her mum because her mother's measures restricted her independence,dictating that she could only go out under her direct supervision.
While Still deep in thought,her mum calls punctuated the air,ringing out multiple times, but she remained oblivious,lost in thought. After persistent calling,Mrs Derek,her mum dashed into her room which made Kimberly panicked, 'Kimberly haven't you been hearing your name??' Mrs Derek asked with a high tone of voice. 'I-i- I'm so sorry mum' Kimberly stammered.'So what exactly were you doing' Mrs Derek asked angrily.'Nothing mum I apologize it wouldn't happen again' Replied Kimberly. 'And aren't you preparing for next month's exams? Shouldn't you be studying and reviewing your notes?'.Asked Mrs Derek doubtfully. With a surge of panic,Kimberly stammered out a hasty affirmation 'Yes ma'.'I would like to advise you to focus on your studies,tidy up the house and take care of your younger siblings,I'll be heading out now'Mrs Derek told her But Kimberly remained silent prompting Mrs Derek stern inquiry 'Am I making myself clear' 'Yes ma' Kimberly said. 'I'll be leaving take careers Derek said leaving her room.
A moment of deliberation preceded Kimberly's decision to keep her plans private and she felt a surge of gratitude for having avoided disclosure.'it was so close" Kimberly said as she breath a sigh of relief,'I think I'll consider an alternative time frame' Kimberly suggested.
CHAPTER TWO (2)
I TOLD MOM
The morning radiance was breathtaking,It shone like polished gold,The Dawn's warmth illuminated everything,as Kimberly Started getting ready for the beginning of the academic week,despite the morning's effervescent atmosphere,Kimberly's thought remained preoccupied with the conundrum of how to disclose to her classmates that she hasn't mustered the courage to inform her mother about the upcoming school outing. After considerable deliberation,a subtle spark of amusement flickered in her mind at the thought of telling her mother in that instant,potentially salvaging the situation and capitalizing her mom's free time
She swiftly donned her school uniform and descended to the dinning area,Where her mother and siblings were already seated,intent on broaching the subject of the school outing with her mom.
As Kimberly took her seat,she initiated the conversation 'MOM' she called.Her mother Mrs Derek responded 'Yes Kimberly what's on mind"?Kimberly hesitated briefly before articulating her request, 'Mom I've been invited to a school outing organized by my Schoolmates and teachers and also accepted by our principal and I'd love to participate. Given this is my first outing at this school,I wanted to seek your approval before agreeing '. Mrs Derek responded it's commendable that u're seeking permission,but I do have some questions. Will the outing be supervised by a teacher?,Who else apart from your Schoolmates are attending the outing?,Which type of outing?,What's the designated venue?.
Kimberly expecting her mom's questions replied 'its a student-organized outing but our teachers and principal are aware of it,but it wouldn't be supervised by any of them,instead a caretaker will be on site to supervise us,given that our teacher have other obligations for that Friday,So they have given us independence for that day. It's only our school going no externals, and the outing is a park picnic,and the place designated is a park. Our school booked the whole park for us for that day'. Mrs Derek inquired 'Which park specifically' Kimberly replied 'The one located in the State's Capital' Mrs Derek curiously turned into concern as she asked 'The State's Park?,haven't you been following the news about the safety concerns in that area?,There have been reports of abdùctìon in the areas around the park and even the parks itself! Did your school administration consider the risks before choosing that location? 'I don't know mum but i reallywant to go" Kimberly said moody fearing her mom wouldn't permit her to go. Mrs Derek sigh and said 'Given the location,I'm sorry I can't permit you to attend the outing.But I'll try to take u and ur siblings to the another park when three of u will be under my watch. Mrs Derek replied. Okay so now that chapter closed ,gather ur things and get your siblings ready,it's time to drop you off at school,you're already getting late' Mrs Derek said
Kimberly Displeased and dissatisfied with her mother's response,thought 💭 to herself "I'll find an alternative solution". She proceeded to mobilize her younger ones and they headed to school.
CHAPTER THREE (3)
THE IDEA
Before the teacher they were to have that morning came in,Kimberly's friends Emily and Mia approached her and inquired about her mother's response regarding the school outing 'DID you ask your mom if she'd allow you to come for the school outing' Mia asked. 'Yes I did'Kimberly said. 'So what did she say' Emily asked enthusiastically 'She said no,due to safety concerns' Kimberly said. 'Kimberly,our parents approved ours,but why does your mom exhibit heightened vigilance regarding your safety.Why is she particularly protective of you and your siblings'.Emily said angrily 'Are u asking me,am I my mom,or do u think I know why she does that? See don't raise your voice at me again.hope am clear. 'Kimberly said angrily'. Mia intervened, 'Enough guys, but Kimberly be honest do you really want to go' she inquired. 'Yes I want to' Kimberly said. Mia's eyes sparkled with mischief as she said 'does your mom know the date'.'No she doesn't' Kimberly replied. Thank God you didn't tell her, So I got a plan'. Mia said. 'What plan is it?' Emily and Kimberly echoed.
'Since your mom doesn't know the date,you can wear the schooluniform and sneak an extra outfit into your bag' Mia suggested. 'You can change at school before we head out for the park,that way your mom will think you are just going to school as usual' Mia added. Kimberly's face lot up with excitement as she exclaimed 'Wow, OH MY GOD, I never thought of that'. 'You're such a genius Mia' Emily added.
'Thank God my siblings are not aware of the date' Kimberly said relieved. 'You're fortunate the don't attend our school' Mia added. 'Or We would have to brainstorm even harder for idea to pull this off', Emily joked. Just then, their teacher walked, into classroom, and the girls abruptly ended their conversation,exchanging knowing glances.
CHAPTER FOUR (4)
THE D-DAY
The day of the outing finally arrived,and the students were over the moon with excitement. They arrived at school early to catch up with the bus and Kimberly was among them. Just as it has been carefully planned, Kimberly and her friends were thrilled that she was able to join them for the park picnic.
After arriving, Kimberly swiftly changed into her casual attire, shedding her school uniform for a more relax look. 'I'm absolutely delighted you've managed to join us' Mia said beaming with joy. 'Me too' Emily chimed in. 'I'm thrilled to be here but I'm also still apprehensive about my mom discovering my involvement' Kimberly confessed,her voice laced with fear and concern. Emily reassured her 'Don't fret Kimberly,as long as you keep it under raps and refrain from divulging any details to your mom'.she said . Kimberly still seem apprehensive, but Mia reassured her, she wouldn't find out. Just then the supervisor's voice interrupted 'Announcement everyone, pls assemble we're departing soon'.
After the students assembled,they eagerly boarded the bus. Approximately 45 minutes later,they arrived at their destination. As they disembarked, their face lit up with Joy and excitement 'We're finally here!' of the student said excitedly.
The group could not wait to explore and make the most of their picnic adventure. 'This day would be a wonderful one, thank God I didn't miss it' Kimberly said cheerfully
CHAPTER FIVE (5)
IN DANGER
As the afternoon wore on,the students were informed by the supervisor that their time at the park was dwindling,with only two hours left. However their excitement were short-lived,as approximately 30 minutes later, Mia sharp eye detected something peculiar.
She noticed a suspicious group of individuals clad in black,driving a van, entering the park through the main gate. Alarmed, Mia swiftly alerted her friends: Kimberly and Emily,who inturn notified her classmates, including Britney and Whitney. 'We are in big danger,and my mom warned me about this' Kimberly said afraid. 'We have to act fast' Britney said 'and without suspicion' added Emily. 'But where is the supervisor?' 'That true! Where is he?' They chorused. 'No need for this because if we notify everyone, those suspicious individuals would notice. So it's better we go report to the police station immediately',Daisy a classmate of theirs said. 'That's the best idea', Emily said
Without hesitation,the group sprang into action,hastily making their way towards the exit gate, In a swift motion,Britney snapped a photo of the vehicle's license plate,prudently preparing for any potential eventuality, also with the aim of reporting the case to the cops because they would undoubtedly appreciate the students proactive approach in reporting the incident and providing vital information. As they attempted to flee the park, they were spotted by one of the suspicious individuals,who promptly gave chase. The pursuit was relentless, with the gang members hot on their heels like as if they were the main ppl they wanted to abduct. In the choas,Kimberly tripped and fell,loosing consciousness.
As Kimberly fell,a vehicle for fortuitously pulled up right in front of her. The good Samaritan,Mr Ernestson sprayed Into actions. Promptly stopping his vehicle and providing assistance with genuine concern, he carefully helped Kimberly into his car and drove her to the hospital and offering much needed support.
Upon arrival at the hospital,Kimberly's school bag was searched since it was still with her and her belongings were rummaged through. During this process,her mobile phone was discovered and since it wasn't password-protected,the individuals assisting her were able to access her contacts list and retrieve her phone numbers. They promptly made contact with Kimberly's mother, to inform her.

YOUR DAUGHTER FAINTED
Back at home, Kimberly's sister,Winifred grew increasingly curious and concern as the hours ticked by. Her sister's usual school routine would have had her returning home. But the passing time with no sign of Kimberly's presence sparkled Winifred. SORRY MUM FOR NOT YIELDING
Upon arriving at the hospital, Mrs derek was informed that Kimberly was still receiving medical attention and would require sometime to rest.After a 30-minute wait,Mrs Derek was finally permitted to visit Kmberly's room/ward.Although Kimberly was still asleep,her mother patiently waited by her bedside until she woke When Kimberly stirred,Mrs Derek gently inquired about her well-being, asking how she was feeling. She also posed the questions about the events leading up to her fainting, seeking to understand where Kimberly was heading to before hand.However Kimberly remained reticent,prompting her mother to give her additional time to rest before delving into the matter further.
Later that day,the news agency disseminated a detailed report about the incident that transpired at the state park. Mrs Derek while watching the news broadcast, gained insight into the events, 'Kimberly had indeed been at the park, endeavoring to flee when she stumbled to unconsciousness prior to her rescue' Mrs Derek said
During her nighttime visit to Kimberly's hospital ward, Mrs Derek broached the subject with her daughter seeking clarity on the events. Kimberly filled with remorse, confessed that she indeed went with her school mates to the state park and offered a heart apology to her mother. 'I warned you about that vicinity but you decided to try it, well, this is a lesson', Mrs Derek said. 'I'm sorry mum, I underestimated the importance of safety measures and I failed to appreciate the necessity of your protective effort',, Kimberly said sobbing. Kimberly expressed deep regret for not recognizing the value of prioritizing her safety, recognizing that safety is necessary.
