They both stared at each other. Like predator looking at a prey and vice versa. Before either of them could get to say anything Nix walked towards them with Rachel behind her. "Oh wow. You must be Lila, I have heard a lot about you. You are very helpful and connected. You inspire me" she said smiling knowing that Marinette was groaning. "It's such an honor to be admired for my work. I don't mean to brag but that's just a little touch on what I do" Lila replied beaming with pride. 'Another catch' she thought. "Well it's nice to meet you. I hope we'll get along well" Nix said chuckling because she knew that the secret superheroine was infuriated. "My pleasure too" the liar replied.
Nix walked closer to Lila and whispered to her ear "You know your grip on people is beginning to dwindle why don't you leave Baker girl alone and focus on the people. What is one person when you have everyone wrapped around your fingers. She can't do anything, so don't bother yourself with her. She's not a problem except you are not good enough". Nix smirked as Lila froze and her skin went pale.
Nix moved away from her and said " Tata, I'm done here", then she walked away giving Marinette a smile. Rachael just followed her. "You are messing with them" she said. "Yeah" Nix replied. "I didn't even need to read her mind to know that you were confusing her brain. She's one hell of a devious and cunning person" she said. "What do you expect, she's a fox. Bad fox!!" Nix replied. "You read her mind, right? And tried to read mine" Nix added. "I read hers but yours I couldn't even get to see a tiny bit. I thought Damian's mind was hard to read but yours is on another level" Rachael replied sheepishly. " I guess so but it's the first time you mentioned your boyfriend "Nix teased. Rachael stopped dead in her tracks. " Damian is not my boyfriend" she retorted with flushed cheeks. " Oh really, but I didn't mention Damian, did I" Nix asked. "Umm.. No reply" she said. "Anyway I know he'll find you but not me"Nix teased.
They walked to Marinette who was with Alya. " Hi, Marinette and Alya" Nix greeted. They turned to her and said 'Hi'. "Sorry I didn't get to introduce myself. I'm Nixavia, call me Nix or Ava for short and this is Rachael Roth. Nice to meet you" Nix said. "It seems you already know us" Alya replied. Nix nodded in affirmation. "Hello" Rachael said.
"Thanks for your help earlier. I later realized what you were doing" Marinette said. "Don't be so sure you know what I am up to except you can read hearts. It wasn't nice to see you come early to school and get someone staring at you like a predator. But I know you could have made it through without anyone's help. I'm glad to be of help, but you are your own lucky charm" She said looking at Marinette who froze. 'There's no way she knows' Marinette thought. "You are everyday ladybug" Nix replied. Marinette sighed in relief. 'Maybe it's a coincidence, no thoughts to it' .
Mme. Bustier came in then and everyone moved to their seats saying goodbyes. Once in their seats Rachael looked at Nix. "We'll be caught"she said. Nix smiled then looked back at the teacher. " Before we take our class attendance, I'll like to introduce two new students. Please walk forward and introduce yourselves" Caline said.
Raven's mouth hung open. Nix kept a neutral face as she moved towards Miss Caline and Rachael soon followed regaining her emotionless expression.
"Please introduce yourselves. But before you say anything I'm...."Mme Bustier said but was cut off by Nix. " Caline Bustier. Sorry for interrupting
. I know everyone of you". "Oh well, we should get to know you" Caline said. "OK. I am Nixavia just Nixavia, don't stare. This is Rachael Roth my friend." She said with no emotion.
"Class introduce yourselves" Miss Caline Bustier said. Nino stood up to introduce himself. "Nino Lahiffe, the DJ of the class and Alya's boyfriend, who is very protective. Adrien Agreste, Paris teen model naive teen with destructive tendency. Chloe Bourgeois, Mayor's daughter and spoiled heiress but always fashionable, with the ability of subjecting people" Nix said. "Oh please, I'll ignore what you said but I love fashionable people" Chloe retorted. Everyone gasped expecting the fallen Queen to have been infuriated. "Sabrina Raincomprix, very loyal and faithful. Such a true friend. Max Kante, technology pro. I wonder if your tech mind could invent a teleportation portal. Ivan Bruel, Mylene's boyfriend and a caring dude. Mylene Haprel a very calm person, though she has things to be scared of she's ready to help and fight against her fears. Juleka Couffaine a very talented but shy lady but has the spirit of a tigress. Rose Lavillant, very spirited and ready to make people happy even making sacrifice. Alix Kubdel, very competitive and obsessed with time. Le Chien Kim , athletic and naive most times, causes uproar sometimes. Nathaniel KurtzBerg talented artist calm and kind." She continued watching everyone's reaction. Eyes were wide opened and brows were high up. Smirking she continued "Alya Casaire, famous blogger and reporter with information about Ladybug. Marinette's best friend. But sometimes she puts her job before her friend especially when it comes to Ladybug". Alya smiled shyly. " We won't forget Lila Rossi our adventurer with tales and Aider to people who need help. She's even trying due to some disability and di..... Never mind "she said looking directly at Lila.
" Then Marinette, a kind, loving and caring person who has given a lot to everyone of you sitting here. Creative, brilliant and not to mention clumsy. Every day Ladybug. "She ended like she was giving a speech. " So I know you and hope we'll get along".
Everyone looked shocked and mouths were dropped. Eyes were wide open. That was the reaction she wanted at the end. It was pleasing, Rachael chuckled as Nix walked to her seat leaving everyone dazed. She followed Nix. "I won't want to be against you" Raven said. "Good choice" Nix replied.
Finally the spell broke and they regained themselves. Clearing her throat "Okay let's start our lesson" Caline cut in and class went on.
That day went on and soon it was break time. Nix dragged Rachael and they left unnoticed. "Wait for me outside the school. I'll meet you if someone doesn't first" Nix said the first loudly and at the end it was in a whisper. "What do you mean"Raven asked. When she turned no one was there. " Great" she muttered. She made her way to the school's main door. When she got there her heart stopped beating at what she saw......
