In the enchanted glade of Luminara, fairies flitted between flowers, painting petals and coaxing dewdrops to shimmer. Lucky was different. She tripped over thistle thorns, tangled her wings in spiderwebs, and accidentally set off chain-reactions of magic she didn't understand.
"Careful, Lucky!" called Thistle, the garden fairy, as Lucky's sneeze caused a mushroom to explode into glitter.
"I didn't mean to! I just... uh... sneeze sparkles?"
The elder fairies sighed, unsure of what to make of her. But Lucky never stopped smiling. "Maybe I'm not like the others," she whispered to a sleepy toadstool, "but that doesn't mean I'm not meant for something big."
