Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: RETURN OF ASHES

Port of Mumbai, Midnight

Rain lashes the dock. Cargo containers line the dark harbor like sleeping giants. A black container marked "404" opens slowly. A man steps out, barefoot, long black coat dragging through puddles. Face unseen. Smoke curls around him from the incense stick in his hand.

[TEXT ON SCREEN]: "5 Years Later..."

DOCK WORKER (to himself):

"Kya re... kis waqt log aate hain yeh duniya mein…"

(What kind of people arrive at this hour...)

The man flicks the incense into the sea. Lightning flashes. We see him now — calm eyes, face marked by fire scars across his jaw.

This is Azaan "Raakh" Khan.

He's back.

---

Scene 2: Interior — Abandoned Theatre (Raakh's new base)

Dimly lit. Maddy "The Ghost" is seated at a bank of screens, chewing on a pen.

MADDY:

"You're two hours late, boss. But I guess when you're a myth, clocks don't matter."

Raakh doesn't respond. He walks past Maddy, stands before a huge digital map of Mumbai, all marked in red zones.

RAAKH (quietly):

"How deep is the rot?"

MADDY:

"Deeper than we thought. Deshmukh owns four sitting ministers, the customs port, and has three new dogs in the force. You were gone five years. The city changed."

Raakh lights another incense stick. Places it in front of the map.

RAAKH:

"Then we'll change it back. Burn the lies. One truth at a time."

---

Scene 3: Flashback — The Night Raakh Disappeared

We see a chaotic shootout. Raakh is wounded, betrayed by one of his own lieutenants. A child is caught in the crossfire. He covers the child with his own body as a car explodes beside them.

VOICEOVER (Raakh):

"Fire never lies. It only reveals what's already rotten."

---

Scene 4: Present Day — Viren Deshmukh's Campaign Headquarters

Glitzy. Bright. Cameras flashing. Viren Deshmukh steps onto stage, acting like a hero.

DESHMUKH:

"This city belongs to dreamers. Not to shadows from the past."

He receives a message on his phone: just a photo of an incense stick burning next to an ash-stained blade.

His smile fades.

---

ENDING SHOT:

Back to Raakh, standing at the edge of a rooftop, looking over Mumbai. He mutters a single line:

RAAKH:

"Let the fire begin."

Cue gritty intro music.
