Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 : Choice He Never Wanted

DAWSON'S APARTMENT

Darlina slowly unlocked the door while Hazel stood beside her, Her expression already filled with fear.

Her grip on her purse tightened as she hesitated to walk into the apartment.

"Darlina, I don't know if I should go in," Hazel whispered, her voice trembling.

Darlina's expression softened. "It's okay, Hazel. I'll be right here with you."

Hazel took a deep breath and stepped inside, her eyes scanning the dark apartment and then she saw that Dawson was no longer laying on the couch from where they left him.

Dawson walked into the living room, his eyes red and his hair wet. Hazel gulped, her heart racing rapidly against her chest.

"Where are you both coming from?" Dawson asked, raising his brows.

Darlina stepped forward, glaring at him.

No words could Describe how she fucking hated him.

"It's none of your fucking business,"

Hazel quickly placed gentle hand on Darlina's arm.

"Please, I'll handle it. Go to your room," Hazel whispered urgently to Darlina.

"Hell no! I'm not leaving you alone with him"She said, firmly.

"Please,Go to your room"

"No"She responded stubbornly, ignoring Hazel's teary eyes.

Then suddenly Hazel yelped in pain when Dawson gripped her hair and pulled her into their room.

Before Darlina could even rush in,He locked the door.

She kept on pounding her fists against the door but still no one opened the door.

Meanwhile,

Dawson's grip on Hazel's hair tightened, his fingers digging deep into her scalp.

"Where are you coming from?" he repeated.

"P... please, I'm s.. sorry," she stuttered, tears flowing down her cheeks.

Her eyes pleaded with Dawson, begging him to release his grip. But he only pulled her closer, his breath hot against her face.

"Tell me," he growled, his fingers twisting in her hair. "Where. Were. You?"

"I... I went to a wedding," Hazel stammered, wincing in pain as Dawson's grip on her hair tightened.

"L... Liam invited me, and I...

Dawson's eyes studied her, His face filled with anger.

"Liam?Who the hell is Liam?"

Hazel trembled, her eyes welling up with tears. "M...my boss," she stuttered.

He slapped her hard and a scream left her lips as she fell on the bed.

"What did I tell you the last time, huh?" he sneered.

Hazel'strembled,as More tears streamed down her face.

"I...I should not go close to my boss...I should only do my job and come back home."

"And what did you do tonight?" he roared and she flinched,Her body trembling on the bed.

"I disobeyed you"She responded quietly.

"And what happens when you disobey my orders?"

Her heart skipped a beat and she gulped. "I get punished"

Dawson suddenly reached for his belt and pulled it off, Hazel's eyes widened in fear as she realized what he was about to do next.

"D... Dawson,P...P... pleas. Ahhhh"She cried out in pain as he hit her with the belt.

He continued to whip Hazel with the belt and Hazel's screams got louder that Darlina was crying and hitting the door.

Hazel screams grew louder as she curled into a ball desperately trying to protect herself but Dawson kept on hitting her with the belt and her cries turned to whimpers.

She couldn't scream Anymore, Couldn't cry any more,Her body wasn't moving, All she felt was more pain and more pain until she fell unconscious.

RAPHEAL'S PENTHOUSE

Elsa got out of the car and looked up at Rapheal's penthouse.

It was a modern building with big windows that shone in the night light. Inside, the living room was spacious and stylish, with a nice fireplace and big windows that showed off the city view.

"Wow"Elsa mumbled, staring around.

"Your home is beautiful"She commented softly but he only hummed in response.

She continued following behind Rapheal,Her feet aching as she walked and then he suddenly stopped and faced her.

"There will be rules since you're living here with me now"He stated coldly.

Elsa looked up at him in surprise, Rules? She took a deep breath patiently waiting for him to speak.

She had always obeyed her Stepmother's rule almost all her life so abiding his wouldn't be a problem.

"The first rule is: don't talk to me"

Elsa's eyes went wide with surprise at the first rule.

How could he expect her to not talk to him?

They were married, after all. Didn't that mean they were supposed to communicate, to share their thoughts and feelings with each other?

Elsa looked at him questioningly but Rapheal's expression remained the same, his eyes cold and hard.

Elsa realized that he was dead serious. She had to obey him, without question or argument.

Her lips pressed together and she nodded slowly in agreement to the first rule.

She'd make him break that first rule weather he likes it or not.

"The second rule is: never come into my room," he stated, his voice firm and commanding.

That was easy, She could do that. Elsa nodded submissively again.

"The third Rule is...."He stopped at his words pointing to a door.

Elsa's eyes followed Rapheal's pointing finger to a door at the far end of the hallway.

"Never ever enter that room," Rapheal said firmly and she gulped at his tone.

What could be behind that door that Rapheal didn't want her to see? Was it something private?

Elsa nodded obediently again.

"Do you understand?"

Elsa nodded again, lowering her eyes.

"Yes, I understand," she softly.

"Good girl," Rapheal said, his voice low and husky, sending an unexpected flutter through Elsa's chest.

Her cheeks flushed a delicate pink as she felt a shiver run down her spine, his words stirring a strange, tingling sensation within her.

"Now, the last rule: always stay the fuck away from me."

Elsa's eyes widened slightly at the harshness of his words, but she nodded obediently, trying to ignore the sting of hurt she felt.

"Okay"

Rapheal's gaze lingered on her for a moment and then without another word, he turned and was about to enter his room when Elsa's soft voice stopped him.

"Angel Raph," she called out and Rapheal's whole body froze when she called him that.

Why was her voice always so fucking soft? It always make his heart skip and he hated it.

He turned to her again.

"What?" he growled.

Elsa took a step back, swallowing hard.

"Uhm...where do I sleep?" she asked.

Rapheal's gaze lingered on Elsa for a moment, and he shrugged.

"Sleep anywhere, it's none of my fucking business," he said, his voice cold.

Elsa felt a sting from his words, but she nodded and turned away, trying to ignore the hurt.

"Virgin Blondie..."Rapheal's voice was firm and she stopped walking and turned to face him.

"That stupid name, Angel Raph..."His eyes filled with annoyance.

"Don't call me that ever again."

Elsa frowned cutely.

"B..but it's a nickname," she stuttered. "Don't you like it?"

"No."He responded curtly.

She blinked once, twice, and then nodded again.

With that, Rapheal's face darkened, and he slammed the door shut to his room, leaving Elsa standing alone in the hallway.
