Emilia's heart was racing as she tried to process what was happening. The whispering voice seemed to be coming from all around her, echoing off the walls and ceiling.
"What's going on, Julian?" Emilia demanded, trying to keep her voice steady.
Julian's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I think the manor is trying to communicate with you, Emilia," he said.
Emilia felt a surge of fear. "What do you mean?" she asked.
Julian shrugged. "I'm not entirely sure. But I think it's trying to warn you of something."
Emilia's mind was racing. What could the manor be trying to warn her of? And why was Julian being so cryptic?
As she stood there, trying to make sense of things, Emilia heard the whispering voice again. "Get out while you still can."
This time, Emilia felt a sense of urgency. She knew she had to get out of Ashwood Manor, no matter what.
"I need to leave," Emilia said, turning to Julian.
Julian's smile faltered for a moment, before he regained his composure. "I'm afraid that's not possible, Emilia," he said.
Emilia felt a surge of anger. "What do you mean?" she demanded.
Julian shrugged. "You're here for the summer, Emilia. You can't just leave."

Emilia's eyes locked onto Julian's. "What key?" she asked.
Julian's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I think you'll figure it out, Emilia," he said.
Emilia felt a sense of determination. She was going to find that key, no matter what. And she was going to get out of Ashwood Manor, no matter what it took.
