I sit on the couch in the living room and look down at my hands. "For real, what was that dream?" I ask, but my thought was cut off by Amy entering the room.
"Good morning," she says.
"Good morning," I respond.
"Hey John, what do you think we should do?" she asks.
"What do you mean?" I reply.
"Well, we are both alone and the world may be doomed... You know... Rather than just being two alive human beings... We are a man and a woman, you know?" she says.
"Look, if you are implying we should have sex, I wouldn't do it with a minor," I say.
"Well, but what if we are the only ones in the world?" she asks.
"I don't care, just wait till you're of age," I say.
I look at her and she pouts, walking out of the room. I look up at the roof, thinking of what I should do. Should I leave her to the outpost? But that wake-up call was really weird. I think I'm going to keep her for now.
I get up from the couch and walk to my room. As I blink, I see myself sitting on top of the bed, my knees to my head, sitting at the corner of the bed. The bed is full of blood, and I'm missing both arms, crying. I get horrified, but with another blink of the eye, everything returns to normal.
"What the fuck is happening with myself?" I ask.
"Am I hallucinating?" I ask.
I slap myself to wake up and sit on the chair at my desk. I grab some paper and start drawing to kill time. I draw a nice little landscape painting with a snowy mountain range and a river nearby. Drawing was always my pastime, and I loved it. Getting the opportunity to draw your fantasies was something completely fascinating for me.
As I finished my drawing, I looked out of the window, gazing up to the sky, trying to find the red planet. As I blink, I get a glimpse of the red planet, and as I turn around, I see Matilda's dead body. Exactly how I left it before burning it. I get goosebumps all over my body, and I can feel my heart start racing.
As I blink, everything goes back to normal.
"H-How could this be?" I ask.
"Is God tormenting me?" I ask.
I get up from the chair and walk down to the living room. The time being noon made it so that the sun started descending. As I reached the living room, I find on the small glass table in the middle a copy of the Bible.
"Who placed this here?" I ask, picking it up.
As I open the first page, instead of reading the normal words in the start, it was completely empty.
"What if history was rewritten?" the strange voice I heard before says.
"Huh? Who is it? What do you mean?" I ask.
"What if your puny little planet was wiped off?" it asks.
"I don't care, get off my mind!" I say.
After a bit, I calm down, and as I open the Bible, it reads:
"John, your time is little. When the blood moon reaches, leave and start running in the forest. You will see for yourself."
What the fuck? How would I trust the Bible that had blank pages?
I turn over the page, and it reads:
"If you wish for revenge, I would advise you follow my orders. The blood moon is part of the twisted side of the world. This world is separated into your normal world and our twisted world. You are the only one that can see the difference sometimes, but the twisted world is full of roaming souls that haven't had their will fulfilled yet. They keep their dead shape for their underlife and wander aimlessly around. If you wish to make a change to the world, trust me."
"Well, fuck..." I say.
I get up and walk to the balcony. I look out, and as I gaze up to the sky, I see a huge gray cross.
"What the fuck?"
