Valerie's POV
I went to training and quickly spotted James. He and his twin sisters,Jane were my bestfriends. I love their bond. Well I have to admit it, I was sometimes jealous of them even though Alias and I had a great bond, we didn't have much time to hang out a lot between his work and position as a Beta and my trainings. But we did hang out sometimes acompanied by Alex and yet again I have to confess, it is fun to hang out with my brother and his bestfriend, the alpha. As much as I love my brother, I missed my parent who died 17 years ago. I was raised by my brother. I think Jane might have spot me lost in thoughts because she asked, '' Are you okay.'' I who was pukked away from my thoughts replied,'' I'm fine even though I had a visit from Kayla.'' Jane didn't say anything but I could see she was mad. She didn't like Kayla either. Kayla and Jane went to the same school as kids. They were bestfriends but suddenly Kayla became this witch who was manipulative and we are one of the rare people who she shiwed her true colors. James also knew about this. Kayla used to his closest friend and his favorite person after Jane. Well now that changed after Kayla bullied his twin sister. He loved Jane so much and he was protective like my brother. James was the type strong, protective person who might look cold at first glance but he's actually sweet and caring. As they are twins, the both had dark brown eyes with dark hair which is almost black but isn't. Anyways after training, we went to our favorite diner.
"What would you like?'', the waiter asked.
"Lemonade and a medium sized pizza please.'' James ordered before Jane and I got to say something.
"Wouldn't that be too much'', I mumbled and surprisely they heard me.
"It wouln't be if we are going to share'', affirmed James.
While we talking, Jane was quiet when I glanced at her I knew why. It was my brother and Alex. I supposed they were having dinner at the diner. I wasn't surprise, the diner which we were, served fantastic food. Jane finally talked, '' Isn't your brother,the beta, and the Alpha.''
She tried to hide her emotions but it was up to no use. She liked my brother ever since they met but unfortunately I coukdn't say the same for brother. I was pretty Jane was going to be unable to hide her feeling when they came in the diner and surprsiely she didn't.
